"So Benedito what are your intentions with Bobby?" Clyde placed his clasped hands on the table. I looked at him like he had lost his mind which seemed to really humor Ma. "What? I do understand that you are now a business partner, but Bobby is my son. I would like to make sure his first boyfriend treats him well."
"If he ain't strangling-" I muttered under my breath but Benedito's cold gaze immediately shut me. I smacked my lips together and took a bite of my toast.
"Well my intentions are obviously to treat him well," he smiled to me. I sent him a fake smile in return before looking at Delilah who wouldn't stop giggling. "I'm not perfect so I can't say there won't be any fights-"
"Or kidnapping," I added in. His hand held my thigh tightly making me whine but I finally got the message to shut up.
