CHAPTER 39
MAGEDELENE'S POV
Amanda giggling as Magedelene narrates, her how She and Philip kissed Infront of his friends.
"So what happened, what did his friends say." Amanda excitedly insisting.
"Then Jay, was like, C'mon get a room." Magedelene says as she joking imitates jay husky voice.
Magedelene keeps on narrating as she looks at everybody that has the same height as Philip, hoping they were Him.
They both laugh out loud together.
"I want to tell you something." Magedelene says as She stops halfway.
"What's that." Amanda putting her phone in her bag, as she searches Magedelene face.
Magedelene looks around before she says a word, "Philip." His name came out with ease, Amanda nods her head, waiting for the rest.
"He is talking about love already."
Amanda searching her face again "What's wrong, I mean I figured out, it would come to that."
"I just don't know, if am ready for what next." Magedelene letting out her fear.
Amanda holds her by the hands, as they walk to the Lecture Room
"Do you love him?" Amanda finally ask.
"Why?" Magedelene staring at Amanda like she didn't understand.
" Do you love Philip?" Amanda asks her, this time looking at her in the eyes.
"I mean i do ?" Madegelene speaks it in a confused way, still not getting where Amanda was diving to
"If you do, then don't let your fear ruin this for y'all." Amanda tells her as they strode along.
"I just feel like, I don't deserve all this sometimes, Philip's love, Your love." Magedelene looking dejected.
Amanda turns facing her, "Magedelene that's a low self esteem energy, am sensing from you, You're worth this and more."
Magedelene looks at Amanda as she says those words and puts her arms around Amanda neck, Amanda returns the Hug smiling
"Am lucky to have you as a friend." Amanda whispers to her.
As they let go off eachother, Amanda tells her
"That man over there, doesn't he look like Philip."
Magedelene looks over at where the Man was standing. He was staring at her,
They stare at eachother for a while
"Do you know him from somewhere?" Amanda ask.
Magedelene breaks Eye contact, as she faces Amanda " What did you say?" She asks distractedly.
"What's happening? Y'all were looking at eachother." Amanda rephrases her question.
"I think He has something to do with my Birth Dad?" Magedelene looks back to where the Strange Man was standing, but He was gone.
Amanda nods her head, as She wraps her head around the answer.
"Did you see the resemblance he has with Philip." Amanda asks, Still bothered by that.
"No, I didn't notice." Magedelene looks around once again, Hoping she'd see him around.
If he was from her Birth Dad, She wanted to pass a mesage to him.
"Well, that's strange." Amanda murmurs.
"I'll see you around, I have to see one of my lecturers." Amanda hugs her as she leaves.
A voice startles her as She's about to enter the lecture room.
"Hey Magedelene." She turns around, It's Sam
"It seems we are both having the same class today." Sam speaks as he seems happy to see her
" Oh hey Sam," Feeling embarrassed because she's been avoiding his texts.
"Sure, I didn't know you're minoring from this department?" Magedelene tells him as she looks around, looking for a escape route.
Unfortunately, Just one Row remaining,
All the other place has been occupied.
"How are you holding up." He asks, as they both sit together, in the same row.
"I mean, am doing okay." As she speaks, the image of that strange Man, flash across her mind.
"How about you." She quickly chips in.
He comes closer to her "Do you want to know the truth?" Sam asks with a smirk.
Magedelene nods her head like she has a choice
"Truthfully, I have really worried about you, I reached out to you though." Sam says as he looks at her Phone
Magedelene eyes wanders to her Phone, trying to figure out what to say
"I am really sorry about that, I was trying to clear my head." Looking everywhere but Sam
" Hey it's Fine, I just want you to know that you can talk me about anything." Sam reaches out to her hands
Magedelene quickly take off her hands gently from him
"I hear you, I appreciate." She looks down at her, She's just gotten a message.
A smile cross her face as she smiles and is little worried because of the tone of the message.
"Have got something to tell you, Lunch on Me." It was from Philip.
"Was that from Philip." Sam blurts out the words.
Magedelene raises her brow in a questioning way at him " Excuse You?"
"I mean, it's obvious." Sam says as he taps the table gently.
"What do you mean by that." Magedelene getting confused.
"The way He looks at you,
Every text that comes from him, You smile,
You know sometimes I see y'all together most of the time."
"I don't get it, Are you stalking me now?" Magedelene asks in disbelief.
Sam turns as he looks at her angrily, "You know that's not what this is about." He hits the table a little bit loud.
Some student turns towards their direction.
Sam has never shown his angry side before,
"Then what is this all about?" Magedelene asks as she becomes a little frighten, But she hid the fright away from Him.
"Can't you see?
Can't you tell." His eyes softens as he looks at her.
Magedelene didn't respond but looks at his hands.
"I like you Magedelene, Have been giving you Signs, But you choose to unsee it." He was moving towards her this time.
Magedelene begins to move backwards "Is that why you offered me, to work at the Company?" Magedelene still in disbelief.
Sam Stops moving, "No, I mean yes,
but you just have to hear me out here." Sam trying to make his words make sense.
"I can't believe this." Magedelene tells him to his face, still in disbelief.
A message comes into both their phones together
'The class had been cancelled.'
Magedelene breathes out deeply,
'Thank Goodness she can now escape this situation.' She thinks to herself.
She quickly puts all her books ,which she had placed out, back into her bag.
She stands up quickly and was about to leave.
"Please don't go Yet." San begs with his Eyes.
Magedelene looks at him angrily as she begins to walk out.
She shivers fearfully as she hears him bangs the table angrily again.
