Chapter 159

The next day, Helen was at her restaurant again because she had spent the whole night cleaning up any trace of blood both she and Zero had spilled. Her customers were a mix of humans and harmless creatures who would be able to detect the faint scent of blood. She cleaned the floor until the twins could no longer smell any blood in the restaurant.

She also had to deal with the issue of her broken door. It was a pain in the ass for her and the twins to look for a door to replace it with plus install it themselves before her staff and customers would come in the morning.  She didn't feel like coming up with a lie to her employees about why there was a broken door so she fixed it.

Helen sat in her usual seat feeling tired from being up all night. She should've probably killed Zero for making her have to work this hard but she still liked the man. She rested her head against the table trying to get some shut-eye before the day would become more hectic.
