Read First

Hello everyone, I am writing this auxiliary chapter to give you a bit more context about what this fanfic is about and the direction I intend to go with it. As well as get some ideas for where I can take this fic.

First, read the tags. If it's in the tags then its in the story i already have an outline of where I want to go. If there are any tags missing the leave then don't hesitate to leave them here.

Second, this is a harem fic and I intend to keep it that way. I want to keep the harem pretty concise because it can bog down the story for me to have interactions with 30 different harem members and all the other characters on top of that. I intend for the harem to be more angel and fallen angel focused as Heaven and the Grigori are the factions our MC will primarily siding with. I have already decided that Raynare, Kalawarna, Akeno, and Xenovia will be in the harem. I am open to having two more but will only do so if it can serve the story. I thought abut using Benemune as well but I'll leave that up to you guys.

Third, the MC is religious. Aka he is a Christian and will be using his faith as a compass to keep himself righted in a deeply complex world. It won't be his entire personality nor will he be zealous but it will be significant in his decision making for siding with factions and how he approaches certain characters. If you don't like it don't read it.

Finally, upload schedule. I will try to get as many chapters as I can out per week but I am looking at probably two per week. I intend for this to be kinda long so I can go in the direction I want with this fic.

Now with that out of the way I we are entering slight spoiler territory. As I will lay out the character outline I have for Hiyama.

The character concept I have made for Hiyama is your typical transmigrated MC with an extraordinary power. However, I intend to make changes to the DxD world so I can explore what it would really be like if there were devils, angels, and other supernatural's. I don't intend on making this a dark fanfic but let's say Hiyama will learn that Rias and Sona are extreme exceptions to the supernatural world. When beings can destroy a country casually and can move at speeds unimaginable, even the "good guys" are terrifying.

I'll be taking what I know about Christianity, including biblically accurate angel descriptions, and other mythologies to try and spice up the interactions between characters and raise the stakes to be higher than touching boobs and then you win. There is a reason every time an angel appears they say "do not be afraid." Same reason if a Greek god is looking at you, you probably should run.

The MC will become powerful but won't be immediately and the ultimate goal for him in the story is ascending to the throne of heaven as the new biblical god. He will have the sacred gear Logos Reverie which will allow him bend reality to speak, playing of God speaking creation into existence in real life Christian lore. There are no particular limits to what he could do but everything requires some type of energy so keep that in mind. Think Word Soul Magic from Black Clover.

If you have any ideas as to what Hiyama can do with his sacred gear leave them here, I may nerf the gear in some instances so he doesn't grow to fast, like making it harder to modify himself due to the potential danger that presents:

I will also be adding to the world to make it so the Three Great Factions are that way for a reason, and that there is a good reason why the devils don't just destroy Heaven and the Grigori with Sirzechs or Ajuka or really any relevant devil cause why not make them all stronger than gods.
