Everything unfolded as it had in the original timeline: Tai Lung, furious and consumed by rage, defeated Shifu and screamed at him in frustration, demanding to know why he had not been chosen as the Dragon Warrior. His voice echoed through the valley, filled with anguish as he questioned why Shifu had abandoned him after Oogway had cast him aside. Shifu, stricken with guilt, could only ask for Tai Lung's forgiveness, knowing he had played a part in Tai Lung's downfall. However, their tense reunion was interrupted when Tai Lung discovered the Dragon Scroll was missing. Shifu, barely able to speak through his pain, revealed, "The Dragon Warrior has already taken the scroll... and he is halfway across China."
Just as Tai Lung's anger reached a fever pitch, Po arrived with the Dragon Scroll, saving Shifu's life. Tai Lung, filled with disdain for the panda, engaged him in battle, expecting an easy victory. But Po proved to be a formidable and unconventional opponent. His unpredictable and comical fighting style left Tai Lung confused and frustrated, unable to land decisive blows.
The two clashed relentlessly, and eventually, Tai Lung got his hands on the coveted scroll. But when he opened it, he was shocked to find its surface blank. In his fury, he demanded to know the secret of its power. Po, simply told him, "There is no secret power. The power comes from within you"
Tai Lung, refusing to believe it, used his nerve-strike technique on Po, targeting his pressure points. But Po's body, cushioned by his fat, absorbed the blows, leaving him immune to Tai Lung's attack. With his confidence shattered, Tai Lung was overpowered by Po, who used the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist technique—ironically, a technique Tai Lung had mastered, but Po's natural panda physique made him a perfect vessel for it. Po finished the fight by holding Tai Lung in the Wuxi Finger Hold, sending him to the Spirit Realm in a flash of light.
As the dust settled, Riser, who had watched the entire battle alongside Chun-Li, stepped forward. "Congratulations, Po," Riser said, a smile on his face.
Po, breathing heavily but triumphant, looked up in surprise. "Thanks!" he said, waving as Riser and Chun-Li approached.
Just then, a golden portal appeared nearby, radiating a soft glow. Riser looked at it thoughtfully, his intuition telling him who was behind it. "Looks like my time here is up," he said to Po. "Goodbye."
Chun-Li hugged Po tightly. "Goodbye, Po," she said with a smile, then tell po say goodbye from her to everyone .
With that, Riser and Chun-Li stepped into the glowing portal. Po waved his arm enthusiastically as they disappeared from sight.
On the other side, they found themselves in the Spirit Realm. The sky was filled with ethereal light, and before them stood Oogway, radiating tranquility. He smiled as they arrived.
"Ah, quite the fight you had down there," Oogway said, his voice as calm as ever.
Riser smirked. "You knew all along, didn't you?"
Oogway chuckled softly. "Of course. But now, do you wish to return to your home?"
Chun-Li nodded, but Riser stepped forward. "Before that, I have some business here."
Oogway's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "What might that be?"
"I need to borrow a warrior from the Spirit Realm," Riser said, his voice firm. Oogway, intrigued, nodded and began to lead them through the vast realm. As they walked, Riser and Chun-Li pressed Oogway about the nature of chi and its applications. The wise tortoise patiently explained how chi was the energy of life, and how it could be harnessed for strength, healing, and even controlling the flow of battle.
Finally, they arrived at their destination: a floating rock, upon which stood a magnificent peach tree. Suddenly, Tai Lung appeared, leaping down in front of them with a snarl.
"You again," Tai Lung spat. "You come to fight me even in the afterlife? i Didn't I beat you enough to send you here?"
Riser stood his ground. "I'm not here to fight. I came to ask you something, Tai Lung."
Tai Lung's eyes narrowed. "And what might that be?"
"Would you like to come with me?" Riser asked.
Tai Lung scoffed. "Come with you? Where? We're in the realm of the dead. Where could you possibly go from here? More death?"
Oogway interjected with a calm smile. "They are guests from the outside world, Tai Lung."
Tai Lung's skepticism didn't waver. "Even if I am dead, why would I follow you? You should take the panda with you if you're looking for someone."
Riser, unfazed, stared Tai Lung in the eye. "At one time, I heard a saying: 'When a man meditates on the object of his desires, his attachment to it grows. When his work remains unfulfilled, frustration gives birth to anger. Anger clouds the mind, and from this fog, intelligence is destroyed. And when intelligence is destroyed, man is completely ruined.' I think you got caught up in the title of Dragon Warrior so much that you forgot the true essence of what it means."
Tai Lung was silent for a moment, his expression unreadable. "Even so, what does that matter now?" he asked quietly.
"It matters because I can bring you back to life. And I want you by my side."
Tai Lung frowned. "Why would you want me?"
"You're a warrior who mastered a thousand scrolls from the Jade Palace. You have gave the title of Dragon Warrior its weight. I don't want the panda—I want you. Stand by my side, Tai Lung, and reach the heights of martial arts no one has ever achieved."
Tai Lung stared at Riser, then smirked. "Alright. I agree."
With a nod, Riser pulled out two chess piece from his pocket—knight-shaped—and handed it to Tai Lung. As it absorbed into Tai Lung's body, bringing him back to life, Riser remarked, "And if you want, you can call yourself the Phoenix Warrior now."
Tai Lung raised an eyebrow. "Phoenix? Why Phoenix?"
Chun-Li smiled. "Because Master's full name is Riser Phoenix, and he holds the Phoenix heritage."
Tai Lung chuckled. "Well, he looks more like a chicken to me."
Riser's brow twitched in annoyance. "I'm a Phoenix, not a chicken!"
Tai Lung grinned, amused. "You sure act like one."
Oogway, watching the playful banter, smiled warmly. "Now, now. It's time for you to return. Let us meet again one day."
As Oogway opened a portal, Riser, Chun-Li, and Tai Lung stepped through, thanking him. Tai Lung bowed to Oogway before following them.
On the other side of the portal, Oogway arrived at the boundary of the universe, where the Dimensional Gap between worlds stretched into the void. There, the great red dragon, Great Red, flew toward him, his immense power radiating through the air.
"Oogway," Great Red rumbled, "how are you, old friend?"
Oogway smiled warmly. "I have a gift for you."
Great Red tilted his head, confused. "What do you mean?"
Oogway gestured to the three figures glowing in a golden ball beside him—Riser, Tai Lung, and Chun-Li. "You left a portal open on Earth, and these two found their way into my world."
Great Red chuckled. "Ah, sorry about that. I must've left it open after drinking too much of that liquor you gave me."
"I told you to drink in moderation, Red," Oogway said, shaking his head.
"Yeah, yeah," Great Red said with a laugh. "I'll close it now."
Oogway handed the trio to Great Red, who watched as they transformed back into human form.
"Well, only two of them are from my world," Red said. "That leopard—" he pointed to Tai Lung, "is a bit of trouble, isn't he?"
Oogway smiled. "That he is. But this one—" he pointed to Riser—"seems to have taken a liking to him."
"Oh?" Great Red looked at Riser curiously.
Before sending them back, Oogway take an artifact from somewhere and handed it to Riser, the item merging with his soul. Great Red blinked in surprise. "Are you sure about this, old man? I asked you for that artifact so many times, and you never gave it to me."
Oogway smiled mysteriously. "I believe he will make good use of it."
With that, Great Red sent Riser, Chun-Li, and Tai Lung back to Earth, to China, where they emerged from a portal and into their new world.
