The delicious smell of bacon pulled me to the kitchen; Leo was behind the kitchen counter making breakfast. My stomach grumbled as I sat on the stool. Even if he is a demon one of his hobbies is cooking. Demons eat human food as a habit, not because they need it. I could not cook to save my life, once I tried as I was bored and almost burned the kitchen. After that, I was banned from entering the kitchen.

It has been 1 month since we moved to this place because Leo works at the supernatural headquarters at Starfall, the most beautiful city in the middle of Etheria kingdom. It is also the capital of Etheria.

Leonard is the prince of the nether kingdom. One of the three demon kingdoms in this world. My mother is the princess, the sister of king Adriel of the Nether.

When I was thrown out of my father's house, Andras found me and took me to my mother, she was not very enthusiastic about finding the daughter she had abandoned. She was going to abandon me again but he was the one who kept me. I never imagined that I would get my father's love after what happened, but Andras, Andras was the best thing that could happen to me.

At first, he was wary of me, distant and cold as he couldn't understand what to do with his wife's illegitimate child, not just illegitimate but a hybrid, when the relations between the wizards and demons were not great. He was like a father to me who had rescued me and had practically raised me since I was a kid. Andras is my mother's husband and my stepfather. Since he wanted kids and my mother doesn't, he decided to raise me as his own. He loves my mother more than anything in this world. I guess he sees us as a part of her and was more than happy to take care of us.

Then I met Leo, we have become inseparable as he doesn't have any siblings, he loves me like his own sister. When he found out that he would have to come to Starfall for his job, he asked me to come with him and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. We only found out about Aro after we had settled down in this house.

"You are going to get late." he said sliding a plate toward me. he is right I was going to meet Andras today. I scarfed down the breakfast and was in my room getting ready when my phone got a message. "Your bike is delivered." what? I never ordered anything. Then I remembered that Nyx ordered the bike last night, I was so focused on the pretty boy that it totally slipped from my mind.

When I saw the price of it, my mouth dropped open. Why did she buy something so expensive? It was a waste of money. I guess she earns it and can spend however she likes. Anyways, I would also be able to use it as it is also mine so I don't mind. I love bikes. I think that is something we have in common. I will have to ask Leo to teach me. Or I can just learn it using my magic to make sure I won't fall from it.

I was in the supernatural headquarters, waiting in the lobby for Andras to finish his meeting. He is the head of the supernatural division. I don't know what duties he would have as the head but I do know that he is really good at what he is doing. After 5 minutes his secretary a blonde witch, with glasses told me to go inside.

He looked busy he was studying some papers. When he saw me enter through the door, he put them down giving me his whole attention. A small smile appeared on his face. Anyone who sees him will not be able to tell he is over fifty years old. The demons, much like vampires, stop aging at a certain point in their lives. He looks more like my older brother than my father.

His office was neatly organized, with a black and white interior, he was sitting on the chair behind his table.

"Mor, take a seat." he said, I went and sat on one of the chairs opposite his. As soon as I saw the look on his face, I knew what he was going to say. It has been one year since I completed my studies. I was taught by the royal scholars with Leo. While Leo was busy with his work I was still working in the royal library. Andras wants me to work with him, or with my brother so that my potential doesn't go to waste as he said. But I would rather stay alone in the library than with people who will just make me anxious.

"You look tired, are you still having nightmares?" a frown formed on his forehead, I am making him worry about me. He already has so much to worry about I don't want to add anything else to it.

I put on a bright smile and said "with Aro in the house it is hard to sleep let alone have nightmares" it is true, with all the fights Nyx has with Aro I sleep like a baby. I still sometimes have nightmares but Aro will do something and it will pull me out. I know he does it deliberately as once I burned the room while having a nightmare, after that he will always wake me before anything like that happens.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" I asked without giving him a chance to say anything about what a disappointment I am. He sent me a message yesterday asking me to meet him in his office. He has never done that before, but I was also never in Starfall before so he might want something to tell me or maybe he wants to ask about Nyx. I think he loves Nyx. I guess he sees his child in her, the demon child he never got to have with my mother.
