Chapter 2: New rules, new you

After our dance session, I quickly got dressed, slipping on my black skinny jeans, black Vans, leather spike studded jacket over my dark blue.  I rubbed some lip balm on and head downstairs .

I head into the kitchen to find Uncle packing is lunch. "Uhm...Good morning Unc ready to go? " I ask, just as Erinn comes running down the stairs. "I swear we gotta put a slide in place of those death traps " she huffs.

Uncle laugh and hands us out lunches.

We parked in front of the school with Uncle looking at us weirdly. "I'm sure you girls had a bag or better clothes than that. I mean Lumina looks so dark and you Erinn look like a bright rainbow" he shrugs. "Anyway  here's my card buy things for your bedrooms " he hands me the card but before I can take it he pulls back and raises an eyebrow.

I sigh, "Perra falsa" I mumble out. "It seems you only teaching him curse words Sunset " Erinn giggles. "It means fake bitch " I tell him with a small smile. He happily hands it to me and bubbles out "Get something to spoil you guys too" and walks away with a smile.

Once we got our schedules and locker combinations we went back to our lockers, luckily Erinn's one was right next me. I was taking out my English Literature textbook out when Erinn broke the silence I created. "Maybe you could let your hood down for today? " she asks hopefully. "No" I reply coldly.

"I'm thinking of trying out for-" her words are cut off when I feel someone slap my ass. "Damn! I will gladly tap your ass" the male idiot says. I hear Erinn breath in sharply, without thinking I turn around and punch the dick right in the kisser.

" If you wanna keep that hand, I suggest you keep your hands to yourself. Or is your hand game that weak Huh? Stay. Away. " I grit out and he flinches back.

"Am I understood " I say deadly calm and he nods repeatedly. I look up to see a crowd has formed, " Move along haven't you ever seen a unicorn before " I say glaring at them and the move along.

I walk Erinn to her class and make my way to my class. I walked in to English and took the seat at the back of the class by the window. A woman with fiery red hair and green eyes comes in and stands in front of the class.

" That's Mrs Litch " a deep voice says. I jump and look at the guy now sitting next me. He had brown curly hair, brown eyes and was roughly 5'8 that's tall  then again everyone is tall to you.

Well thanks subconscious I did not know that.

Whatever.

He looks at me and leans closer. "I'm James, you must be new here. Don't worry we don't bite people at this school tend to stick to there group" he whispers.

"Huh, is that so " I snort. The class goes on and James makes small talk here and there. He's actually a cool guy and his girlfriend that he keeps talking about sounds sweet.

"Alright class you'll be getting different novels tomorrow" she says right when the bell goes off for second. "I'll see you around... " "Lumina, and yeah sure " he waves and heads off to the other hall. "Right, now to find that Drama class "I say to myself.

"I can take you" a deep silky voice says behind me. I turn around to face a giant. I swear people be like walking palm trees here.

He looks down at me ,"Why do you have your hood up? " he asks his dark eyes locking with my dull blue ones.

"We all have something to hide " I answer not being able to take my eyes off his. He just nods and leads the way. I look around to everyone, who are parting like the red sea for him.

Oh fuck, is h a serial killer?

I'm to young to die ,I mean who would want to kill a cute unicorn like me.

Sometimes I wonder why I chose this body.

Oh shut up u subby .Oooh maybe I could call you that.

Please don't.

I snap out of my thought and look at the students giving me looks of sympathy.

What to Helen!

We stop outside a classroom and he turns around to look at me. "Don't look like a drama kid "he raises a brow but before I can answer he walks away going the opposite direction.

I shrug and enter the classroom sitting at the back once again,when a lady with long black hair comes in. She doesn't look like you average teacher, she looks so young and happy.

"Hey! So I know you guys don't know me but I'm your new drama teacher. I'm Ms Lewinsky " she chirps.

Damn she like Sponge Bob, so bubbley.

Get it.

Me like.

I look around the class and see that the guys look like they're eye raping the poor teacher. "Ok so for your year mark you guys are going to put on a Carnival talent show "she beams.

Hold up I take what I said back.

The class goes wild, like this is the best new since chocolate was discovered.

"But... you'll be put to the test to come up with a act and a booth for this"a round of squeals and groans are heard.

"Though the good news is you'll get to pick your partners" once she says this people start moving around like its the Hunger Games.

"Can you be my partner? " a gruff voice asks me and I look up. This guy has brown hair that looks like he just woke up with those gold orbs and damn he lips.

Does everyone here look like a walking meal I mean come on the day didn't even start and I'm already having a over load of hotness.

"So would you? " by now the whole class is quite and looking at me waiting for my answer. "Yeah... Ok" I mumble.

His face lights up and he takes a seat next to me. After a few minutes the class goes into a whisper buzz.

He takes out a page and writes something on it. He then hands it to me. The class goes quite again and I start freaking out.

A unicorn can only take so much before she turns into a marshmallow kitty.

For the love of food you are not a unicorn.

How dare you say that subby I am too.

I take the paper and it has his number on it , I guess. "Maybe you could call me sometime..." he waits for me to say my name.

I sigh "Lumina " he grins. "Cool I'm Spencer by the way " and just like that the bell goes off for lunch.

Before he could say anything I'm making my way outside. I see Erinn sitting under a tree,as I get closer I hear her sniffle.

I take a seat in front of her and reach out for her cheek "What's wrong Marshmallow?" I ask in a small voice.

She then goes on by telling me how she rocked her try outs for cheer squad. "Ok, so why you crying? " I ask hopefully.

"Cause the head bitch said that I was too fat to join! " she cry's out  then I see red. "Lum, I just wanna get out if here " I look down at my hand she's holding.

When did I get up?

"Ok, but you gotta tell me her name " I say pulling her in the direction I saw the mall. "Brittany" she whispers. "You know what his 'bout we go shopping " I say making her smile.

So we're getting our hair done, "I think Ima go short, with platinum blonde tips"Erinn gushes out.

"I think Ima go blue " I say.

While we were under the dryer Erinn asked the most awesome question "Do you wanna get tatts and piercings? "I smile at her ."Just don't go overboard ok"she just nodded happily.

"Oh fuck, it hurts like a bitch " she whines, while I got my last piercing.

"Oh please I got more than you " I smirk. "That's because you don't have a soul. Anyway let's go order the things and go home "she says walking a head into a book store.

"So, did my baby make any friends? " she coos."I made two and a half " I smirk. She squeals and jumps up and down. As she calms down that old phone starts to ring and Erinn answers it. "That was your Uncle we need to finish up quick and get to the house "

The uber drops us off and we run into house like two bats out of hell. "Woah,Woah,Woah calm down girls " Uncle tells us but we look past.

The once empty house, is now fully furnished.

"Yo...You actually put a slide in" she asks him with big eyes. He beams at her, "I love yo' fat ass the way it is, wouldn't want you getting skinny " he then winks at her. I walk up to the stair-slide.

"Uhm, Sunset your Uncle and me are going to buy our phones and things brb!", I hear her squeal but I'm to busy staring at my door.

It look like a chalkboard, I opened and came face to face with a library. I walked further in and it gave way to a bed on an ice berg around a small corner.

I walked over to the book case and saw that there are four books out of place, I pull on each one and it opened to different rooms.

To the one that gave way to a music room I stay, cause I just found my heaven.
