"Can you get lost already? How many times shall I tell you that we are not destined so that you understand it in a nice way?" Shana was barely holding her disgust.
"But Shana-chan.."
"SHUT UP!" She couldn't hold it anymore
"What is that damn chan for? You damn good for nothing otaku! So what if our grandparents arranged our marriage? It's the twenty-second century already, I don't have to oblige!"
The sudden silence was interrupted by the sound of breaks – the latest model PMW car stopped near them.
"Hey, Shana! Annoying shrimp bothers you again? I told you If I break his legs he will stop!" The driver shouted with little to no emotions.
"Andrew, stop joking, Jin is retarded but innocent, no violence, please. Now let's go to school"
"Hey, shrimp, sit at the back" Andrew laughed.
Jin has chosen to comply and sat silently at the back of the car. It was not the first time he did that. He was rejected over and over again but was too stubborn to give up if it was anyone else but Shana, he would be sent to jail already, but she was too kind to him.
He opened his phone and started playing some MMO, wishing he was MC in some other universe, being kickass and all.
"Oh isn't that Asuka at the bus stop? Let's pick her up to, Andrew?"
"Ah, didn't notice your bud, sure thing."
"Asuka, get up, you or you gonna wait for the bus for ages!" Shana shouted excitedly.
"Thank you! Hi Andrew, Shana!" Asuka was rather glad for the ride.
"Oh hi, Jin, didn't notice you, sorry.." She exclaimed when nearly sat on his lap.
"Never mind me" Jin muttered, continued oneshooting monsters.
In just a few minutes they parked near the school, walking excitedly to join the happy mob near the entrance.
Suddenly Jin felt something amiss in their surroundings and put his phone aside.
"Hey, can you see that?" He asked uncertainly.
"See what?" Shana was annoyed from get on.
"I saw white noise interferences, you know, like on those old analog cathode-ray TVs?" Jin pointed at the gate.
"Really? What kind of interferences? You know there are many types" Andrew could barely hold his satire.
"It's like the signal input is ungrounded. There were horizontal stripes with blurry edges, slowly floating vertically" Jin didn't get the joke.
The company couldn't help but laugh.
"Jin, you ought to stop playing that much, you are going nuts, bud!" Andrew said with a tint of amusement and sadness.
"Ah, right" Jin took his phone again and followed the group.
"Shana, you should talk to his parents, he's going crazy for sure, and his obsession with you can lead to tragedy one day" Andrew whispered.
"I think I should" She whispered back, already thinking how should she present this news to Jins lovely parents.
They were walking, looking at each other with those puppy eyes.
"Guys look around you please" Asuka's voice was trembling.
"What are y…"
"Welcome heroes!"
