Hero's Party

"Lady Claire, I heard that your father approved your transfer after learning that you will accompany me to Silver Sigil Academy. Is that correct?"

Henry asked.

"Yes, Lord Henry,"

Claire replied.

"I'm so glad!"

Henry exclaimed, his voice filled with genuine joy. The two were sharing lunch in the school's cafeteria when he shared his news.

Henry had been relocated to the neighboring country, "The Mighty of Cartloom," by church orders and his father's directive. His mission was to train and retrieve the holy sword from a dungeon located near the city, known as "The Frontier Defender." This holy weapon was said to be the most powerful artifact, one that could only be wielded by the chosen one, the Hero. Henry Cormac had become the first to receive the title of "Sword Hero."

To protect and maintain peace in the world, Heroes like Henry were tasked with defeating the demon army and subjugating the demon king. Shadowrealm, once a lively realm, now hovered ominously over Cartloom. Everything changed when the Infernal Gateway appeared, connecting this world to a dark realm. Demonic beasts and beings surged through the gate, seizing control of the territory that was called Shadowrealm to this day.

Humans and other races were deeply concerned about this dire situation as demon forces attempted to invade and take over the world. Auroria, the Goddess of Peace, acutely aware of the devastating impact the demons had, created various classes empowered by her divine magic to help living beings protect themselves and fight against the demonic onslaught. However, it was said that only the Hero class could stand on the same level as the Demon King. Yet, without the holy weapon, even a Hero could not reach their full potential.

"There are also two other people who will accompany us, Lady Claire !"

Henry exclaimed.

"Really !!"

Claire's voice rose with surprise.

"Yes, from what I heard, they are the princess and Winston's youngest sister."

"Princess and …. Winston's sister !!"

Claire was particularly shocked to hear about Winston's sister, though the princess's involvement was less surprising to her.

"Lord Henry, Is it Princess Fiora and Aria Harrington ??"

Claire asked for confirmation.

"Correct !!"

Henry confirmed with a nod.

Princess Fiora, the third princess of the Kingdom, was a prominent figure. Her father, King Hadrian Joustra, was the current ruler of The Joustra of the Dynasty. She had 5 siblings, each of whom had their own roles and responsibilities within the kingdom's affairs. The primary reason for her travels with Henry likely involved diplomatic matters.

Henry, a hero of their kingdom, was highly valued by the nation, which sought to keep him within their sphere of influence. With Princess Fiora accompanying him, other countries would likely assume that a diplomatic engagement between Henry and Fiora was already underway.

On top of that, Princess Fioara was around their age, which made her presence more relatable and significant to Henry and his companion.

Princess Fiona was not only gorgeous and charming but also immensely talented. She received a "High-Mage" as her Class during the ritual. High Mage was considered to be superior and stronger than a normal mage. Due to her royal bloodline, a High Mage inherited a large reservoir of magic power within their body, enabling them to use more advanced and powerful spells.

Aria Harrington, the second daughter of the Harrington household and skilled with sword, was a year younger than Winston. She had been personally nominated by Henry to accompany him and train him in swordsmanship.

"Sorry Lord Henry, I don't think that i am much use to you because –"

"Don't say that Lady Claire,"

Henry interjected warmly.

"You are a Saint. Your healing magic will surely come in handy when I get into trouble."

Claire smiled at him and nodded.

"Thank you, Lord Henry. I'll do my best !!"

She responded, her voice tinged with determination.
