"It won't come to that Amari. We gave you our word. We are working on finding a permanent solution to make sure the prophecy doesn't happen," Candy said.
"But what if it does?" Amari asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What if it is fate? No one can escape fate, you know?" Amari added and Candy heaved in a deep sigh.
"Amari, if you have the powers in this crystal cave, you will be able to find the portal and see things coming long before it happens," Candy said.
"We need you to be at your full power. More monsters would come through that portal. Demons even. This is how we can keep the world safe. By getting you that power your mother locked away," Candy said.
"And what if my mother was right to lock it away? What if I can't handle all that power?" Amari paused, drawing a sharp breath.
"I am barely handling the power I just got as it is, I really don't think I can handle more," Amari insisted.
"Okay fine. It's your choice, I won't force you," Candy said rising.
