Her Wrath

Warning! Mention of Violence.

Arya woke up feeling her entire body ache. She wanted to move but her body felt heavy and painful. She couldn't help but think that each bone in her body was broken from the pain with the little movement she made.

At first, she thought that it was all a dream. Yet, her body's condition was enough evidence of how real her situation was. She was scared to open her eyes and see the damage that was done to her body.

Unfortunately, she could no longer stand the darkness. It was getting almost claustrophobic. She hated darkness. At least this could be said to be true when she was on her own. As her heavy lids opened, it took her a few minutes to adjust to the darkness.

The only source of light was coming from the table lamp by her bed. She internally let out a sigh of relief thinking that she was all alone. She was used to her own company.
