Unfortunately, he hadn’t been able to sleep well. Ryuu had been quite restless the whole night. His soul felt tired, even heavy, and he knew it was partly because Jayde was feeling sick as well. Though their connection wasn’t complete, she had started the formation of the bond when she’d bit him. He was pretty sure that was why he had felt so bad the day she was taken.
He was more than ready to start looking for Jayde.
A soft knock on his door interrupted his thoughts, and he went over to it, peeking his head around the door to see who it was.
Natashia, with her brilliant hair pulled back from her face in a messy bun, smiled. “Good morning, Prince Ryuu. There’s a meeting today with a few of the mission leaders. I’m on my way to meet them. Care to join me?”
