Vidhi

"How is this?" I asked her and she gave me thumbs up and I chuckled.

"Will she like this?" I asked her. I was getting nervous. I was going to give her the gift which my mother had chosen to give her.

"She will definitely like this. I believe aunty has much better choice then yours." She said and I chuckled.

"Indeed. I don't go for shopping as I like to keep myself busy but I do want to admit. I do like to go shopping." I said and she squealed.

"I knew you too like to go there just you wasn't interested in going over there." She said and I shook my head with a smile.

"So should I go into her room and give her this?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Fine. I will go give her later." I said and she nodded and that time only the door opened of our room.

"So girls. What are you doing?" Bhoomi asked us and we just smile at her.

"OH it's good that you had come over here only. I wanted to give you something." I said and picked up the box and looked at Bhoomi's confused face. I just smiled and went towards her and gently lifted it and put the box in her hand.

"What is this?" She asked.

"I think you will automatically will come to know about this when you will open this box." I said and she chuckled and nodded and opened the box. She was surprised when she saw the gift inside. It was a pair of Sapphire earring and Sapphire bracelet. Mother had liked this gift lot and given me to give this to Bhoomi.

"Why have to give me this?" She asked me and I just smiled.

"Mama said me to give you." I said and she smiled.

"I was also thinking how your choice become so.much good." Bhoomi said and I chuckled.

"So you do believe that Vidhi's choice is just average?" Sonia asked from my back.

"Yes I do. Her choice is not so good." Bhoomi said and I shook my head. I looked over the watch and it was 3 in the afternoon. I left both of them for their own gossip and I took my phone and went towards the balcony.

Breeze was slow and quite welcoming. I was loving being over here. I looked down and found kids playing in the yard and they were in their own little world. Kids world she so much joyful as well as colourful. I chuckled and open the contact app in my phone and scroll to the alphabet M. I quickly click on the name which I was searching. I held it near my ear and was listening the ring which was going to connect to my mama any soon. The line was picked up.

"Mama." I said exictedly. And she giggled.

"How is my little girl?" She asked me.

"You little is fine and become the big girl too." I said and she again giggled.

"But the big girl remain the naughty little girl who used to run around whole house." She said and I laughed.

"Mama," I paused for the few minutes. " I miss you." I said and sighed.

"I know my baby is missing. When I can't live without her then how can my baby live without me. I am also missing you my baby." She said

"Is there something special that you are endearing me so much today?" I asked her. Though I know the answer but what the use of that when you can just tease your mom for few seconds.

"I didn't expected that you will forget this day that easily." She said and I was trying hard to control over my laugh.

"Is it? I am forgetting something?"I asked her and was laughing inwardly.

"Vidhi, enough joke. I don't like it" She said.

"What happened mama?" I asked her.

"Vidhi !!!" She shouted. I laughed out loud this time. I couldn't control over my laugh more.

"Vidhi stop laughing like a hyena." She said.

"Okay okay. I am sorry for teasing you. Happy birthday." I said and she chuckled.

"I knew it that you were joking around." She said.

"When are you arriving?" I asked her. I am very exicted to meet my mother and be in her embrace for a long time. But I am kind of tensed because of my grandparents living over here. I don't know what will happen today.

"I think it will be night when I will arrive. I think around 9 or 10." She said.

"This much late. Till then the function would be finished." I said.

"I can't do anything. But why are you hyper. I will reach you and will also see the wedding." She said and I smiled.

"Why not. I am waiting for you." I said.

"Aww... my baby is getting emotional." She said and I felt that my eyes was filling with tears and I quickly wipe them off.

"No, I am not emotional. And I am hanging up now. Have a safe journey. Love you." I said.

"Love you too little girl." She said and I chuckled and hung up. I keep it down and was looking at the beautiful scenery in front of me.

"Vidhi we have to get ready as well come inside." I heard Sonia voice and I looked at the bed which was contains the dresses and jewellery and not to forget the cosmetics.

"Has everything is ready already?" I asked. I am very nervous today. Though I had told Nikhil that I love him but we still in the situation in which he is still getting married and I don't know where is Ashish but he isn't picking up my calls at all. I am really scared about him.

"Where have you lost?" Sonia asked and I shook my head.

"Bhoomi go and get dressed up." I said to her and she nodded and went away and I looked at Sonia who was exicted to get ready. I sighed.

"You too go and get ready. I will get ready after wards." I said and she nodded with smile and quickly went into the restroom and I take my phone and tried to call Ashish but this time his phone was switched off. It is kind of weird for me. He never used to keep his phone shut.

After few try I too accept my defeat and leave my phone.

"I am ready." Sonia voice echoed and I looked over her and smiled she was looking beautiful in her gown. It was red and golden colour.

"You are looking beautiful." I said and stand up and go towards her.

"Stop praising me and go and get your self ready."She said and I nodded and I took a quick shower and wore the dress which is choosen by Sonia for me. It is quite nice.

I come out and saw Sonia busy in doing her make up.

"How do I look?" I asked and she looked in my direction and smiled.

"I am sure you can kill guys today." She said and I just smiled.

"You are ready?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Just jewellery are to be put on." She said and I nodded. She pick up a small necklace set and decorated herself with it. She was now looking more beautiful

"Where is yours?" She asked.

"I will just wear earrings." I said and she nodded. I pick up the earrings and put it over my ears.

"Girls are you ready?" I heard Bhoomi voice as she entered in our room. I saw she was really look like a bride.

She was earring red colour frock suit and a golden duppta and matching jewellery.

"OH you are ready. Let's go downstairs." She said and we nodded and we went downstairs but I don't know why but something wrong was going to happen today and I was feeling about it worst.
