Full Moon Announcement

William positioned himself smack dab in the midst of the forest while he waited for the rest of his pack to assemble. The first bell had just rung, and everyone was now aware that a shift change was imminent. As he gazed up at the full moon in the night sky, he became aware of the power that it exerted over him. His muscles began to stiffen up as he watched the other members of his pack make their way into the clearing. Mike, Lawrence, and Darwin were there to accompany him. When he saw Michelle and her companion walking by, he stopped to talk to them. Matthew supported his companion by cradling him in his arm. Others were seen smiling broadly as they cozied up next to one another. He was aware that Lara was coming closer to him.

He got their attention by stretching his arms out in front of them. A shroud of stillness descended upon the gathering of werewolves.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is here tonight. On this night, we make use of the strength provided by the full moon in order to succumb to the night and the beast."

The entire group could be heard yelling and cheering at the same time.

"In addition, I have some wonderful news to share with you tonight."

The group of werewolves gave out a few gasps in response. Lara smiled as she proceeded forward knowing what William is talking about. "Who did you have relations with?" Michelle walked up behind Lara, put her arm around her waist, and asked the question. This caused Lara to stop in her tracks.

"Get off me!" was spoken by Lara.

Michelle threw her to the ground and said "Alpha will speak before you!" while doing so to demonstrate that she may be old in terms of years but is not weak in terms of power.

William issued a command, "That's enough!" The words came out of his mouth just as Lara was making her way toward Michelle to attack her. She obeyed his command, which caused her to come to a stop. "I was in relationship with a human. Because the gods have destined for the destinies to unite me with a human, she will rule over you as your queen."

"What?" A man approached him and asked, "Have you lost your mind?"

Lara glared angrily at him while resting her fists on her hips. "How do you go about selecting someone to work beside you in guiding this group of werewolves?" She made an inquiry. William was attentive as they vented their frustrations.

"Shut up!" was yelled by Lawrence. They couldn't resist being lured to his alpha.

"Who is that stupid human that will mate you and stand by your side?" Lara questioned. William rushed to her side and immediately put his hand around her neck as he did so. "I ask that you refrain from expressing hurtful things towards her in this presence. Are you keeping up with what I'm saying?"

William waited for her to nod before releasing his grip on her.

He turned around, looking at each individual that comprised his pack, and he said, "The last time I checked, I am still an alpha." William was yanking his shirt off his body while simultaneously beating his chest. "Take your absolute best attempt at beating me and moving to the front of this pack if you think you have what it takes to do so."

William spread his arms wide as he waited for a member of the group to make an attempt to steal his status as the leader of the pack.

"It is true that I am the pack's leader. But it is not you who makes the decisions, but rather me. I have the right to went ahead and picked out my spouse without consulting all of you."

"Do we know who is she?" Matthew made an inquiry.

"Her name is Cristy Lincon."

As she closed the distance between them, Lara gave him a chest shove. "You're going to give more attention to that human than you do to me. She has never had even the slightest interaction with a man." William grabbed her hand and yanked her away from him while remarking, "You can smell her innocence all over her like a stink." She struggled against his hold even as she gasped for air. She couldn't compete with him in terms of size, strength, or tenacity at all.

"I solemnly swear that if you ever criticize my partner in any way again, I will cause you physical harm, and those will be your last words."

Her muscles began to relax as she let out a grunt. He then turned around to face the crowd after he had finished releasing her.

"This was already predetermined by my destiny. I didn't plan to marrying a human being. You are very aware of the frailty of other people. For the duration of Cristy's life, I shall act as her mate. I will take ownership of her. If something were to happen to her in the future, I will make my way over to everyone of you." William resorted to Michelle in the hopes that the more experienced woman would be able to assist him in convincing his pack that he was responsible for the care of his queen.

"Cristy is an exceptional human being. She puts in a lot of effort and is really powerful. She is definitely a human, but who gives a damn about that?"

In front of him, Michelle knelt down on her knee and murmured, "I stand by my alpha and my queen."

The rest of the pack ultimately perished of what Michelle did, which is allowing him to marry Cristy.

Lara gazed at him while adamantly maintaining her stance that she would not bow down until she was the only person left standing.

"Lara, are you battling me?"

"Although this is not the case, I do hope you are aware of the implications that having a human mate could have for this pack."

"Lara, you have no right to make statements like this. Get off of Dim Forest or get down on your knees."

Lara reluctantly got down on one knee.

"Thank you." William disengaged his gaze from the group of people and stated, "Let's run!" He let out a howl, and then turned into a werewolf after gazing up at the full moon. The werewolves in the pack changed their appearance all around him.

Matthew continued, "I also want to extend my congratulations to you." The werewolf bowed before him as he stood there.

As he made his way into the woods, William gave a nod. He was accompanied by his three bodyguards.

Mike remarked, "That turned out much better than I had expected."

"Simply due to the fact that Michelle has once again proven that she is a badass." Darwin remarked that she would be an excellent cougar.

William found what they were saying to be funny and he laughed throughout it. He was able to sense each individual in the pack. When he arrived at the edge of the woodland, he discovered that he was not too far away from Cristy's house. When he looked up at the window, she was standing there with her arms crossed and her back to him, staring down at him.

Lawrence said, "We've got to go, Alpha."

He started to feel more comfortable as he looked at her and inhaled her scent more deeply.

It wouldn't take long for his scent to wipe out any vestiges of her purity. There wouldn't be any other man sticking around on her skin. William bolted away from her house while roaring loudly at the clouds above. He was quite excited for the occasion of his mating.
