♡ Chapter 12 ♡
It's a beautiful afternoon on a spring day. Stella is waiting for Zach to come online but no! Looks like he ain't gonna come online or call or message whatever. Stella gets up. Changes her dress and wanted to visit Zach. They had no college that day. Stella has exams coming near but all she cares about is Zach. "Where are you going Stella? " Her mum asked while sipping the tea. I'm gonna go visit uh Madison... we got some assignments to do. I'll be back by evening OK?" Stella smiled.
"Be careful and uh don't take the car I'm gonna need it for my office today" Stella leaves after listening to her mum. Walking outside the door she's thinking how she's gonna go and she starts walking. Took a bus and stopped at the closest bus stop to the lake. And starts walking again.
"I hope he's fine." she whispers. She went inside the bushes knocks on the door, no answers. "Zach are you in there?" Stella said loudly but calmly. Zach is sitting idle beside the bed on the floor. Listening to "All I want" by Kodaline. He took a vow to not to talk to Stella for few days cuz he just wanna stay alone some days. Stella is knocking so hard on the door but he doesn't even hear. Stella is feeling guilty for no wonder why... A drop of tear falls from her eyes. She walks away from the door and sits on the bank of the lake. She cries as much as she wants. Nobody was there so she was free to do so. She hates to cry on front of people so finally she had all her tears out. "Why do I always make people feel bad. I'm such a bad luck. I wish I was dead like my father. He is dead because of me too. F**k this life. It's just full of mess!!!" She shouts out loud then see Zach sitting beside her. She stops crying suddenly. Starts sobbing and removes her tears with the back of her hands. While Zach smiles looking at her. He holds her face and kisses on the eyes.
"Let go of me, you're gonna eat my tears!" "Then let be it, I don't mind." After saying that he tastes his lips and says, "It's sour but I can eat it my whole life if it's yours my lady." Stella smiles too. "Look at me Stella.." Zach pulls her face up by his index finger and removes the last tear from her eyes. "Do not cry please. Just do not shed your tears like this. These are way too precious." Zach becomes emotional too but he says something to make Stella laugh, "Whenever you feel like crying tell me I'll be there to eat it all haha" Both laughs then. "Come here, my little lady. You're so naive. Now tell me why were you sad. Have I done something wrong. I hope not so." Stella interrupted, "No! Not at all. It's just I remembered some of my past thingys which made me feel.... terrible." "And what are the thingys,hhmmm?" Stella stays shut for sometime and then say tells him most of the things that made her feel terrible. About her father dying, her uncle and aunt complaining, also about one of his uncles abusing her. Zach could see himself in Stella now. He has the same problems almost. He didn't wanted to live either. "My lady, I never knew about how they treated you. I'm so sorry but Who's this uncle huh?" he asked really angrily.
"He's one of my father's favorite. After my dad died because of saving me up from a river, I stayed with him for almost a month as long as I remember... uh.. now he lives in Norway. My mum told me to go with him but I refused cuz even I wanna go to Norway so badly, I don't ever wanna see his face."
"You didn't tell this to your mum even?!" "You're the one and only one..." Stella smiled. "You know what? Now I feel like killing that man! Oh come here my lady. I love you okay? I love you forever and ever." Zach became calm as soon as he saw her face, looking like an angel who just came to remind him that you shouldn't be angry, it's bad for health. He hugged Stella so tight that she couldn't even remember she was sad and crying.
"Wanna have some chocolates? I've brought some for you. Then they ate kitkat together, listening to their favourite song "She will be loved." Zach tells her, "The Lady is loved, ain't she?" She starts to feel Zach is the first and last man she'll ever fall for.
