Family Meeting (7): Third Win

Now Tian Long has two wins out of four battles. He still felt guilty about what he did to Long Bilan, if she didn't talk he might made half naked in front of the whole crowd.

Also there is when he felt happy frustrating her. He just hope he is not a sadist, as they say it is when someone has power that his true color will begin to show

Long Chen too has played two matches. Tian Long battle which he lost and he battled Long Ce which ended in draw. Only Long Bilan lost both of her match even though she is a peak stage body refining realm, her physique doesn't make her use her full strength.

As for Long Yan is currently battling Long Chen with Long Chen being suppressed. Tian Long knows that even though Long Chen has a hidden strength, he wouldn't release it because it is not a life-death battle.

“Second Arena, Long Ce and Tian Long”. Tian Long third match had arrived. He is already losing interest in the family meetings if not that he had to make his foster father reputation good by keeping the position of the young master, he would have left the arena.

Getting to the arena, he saw Long Ce; a red-haired and eyed young man. Why are all Long Family memeber having different hair and eyes color, this has been baffling him even Long Bilan has a pale sliver eyes with black hair, Long Chen has a brown hair and eyes too.

Suddenly the formation eye trembled; a physique is near. The only person who is near him is Long Ce so that means…

Checking the physique, he now guessed why Long Ce had Red eyes and hair. He had the fire physique ranked 42nd on the list. It is a physique purely for the use of fire which makes it ranked higher than the sword body and saber boy.

But even though it is ranked higher, it doesn't mean it is stronger than the sword body or saber body. From the physique ranked 31st to 50th, there is no difference between the physique. A user of physique ranked 50th can beat a user of physique ranked 40th in a battle.

Looking at the physique, it is already partial awakened. As a body refiner, his body shows that he cultivates a body refinement skill

‘No wonder he was able to draw with Long Chen’.

“I can see you are a body refiner” Tian Long whispered that only the two of them could hear but he had forgotten about the City Lord whose strength is unknown

Long Ce was suprised hearing Tian Long saying this but he nodded. Seeing he nodded, Tian Long didn't say anything as he gave him a punch which was parried with Long Ce punch.

Now this turned into a fist fight. Their body began to move quickly as they fought with their fist and leg only.

“Why are they not using weapons only their hand but it is able to bring this much destructive power”

“I don't know too. Even i am surprised too”

“Don't you guys read books at home or research on anything”

“What do you mean?, elaborate to us”

“From my information, i guess they are body refiner”

Three young men in the crowd watching Tian Long battle were discussing about it. Hearing the word “body refiner” they kept quiet.

It's been hundreds of years that body refiner has appeared in Dragon City. Now two of them are appearing at the same time in the Long Family

“Ok, if we say they are body refiners. Don't you fear this young master of the Long Family” One of the three said.

“What do you mean?” The other two asked as they were confused.

“What is the name people call the young master of the Long Family”

“Trash, that's the title given to him”

“People had been calling trash since they saw he couldn't cultivate. But here now, he has the cultivation realm of 8th body refining realm also he has two law consciousness. That's makes him a genius and now he is a body refiner. Being able to calm when someone call you trash and you know you are not is a feat on his own. Can both of you do that”

As the two heard his explanation, they began to sweat. If someone calls them a trash and they know that they are not, they would have revealed their talent since because they would not be able to take it anymore.

But Tian Long is able to do this and smile when people call him this. Only heavens knows what he is thinking.

Tian Long and Long Ce fought for a few moments before they separated. Tian Long never thought someone would fight him this long in body cultivation without injuries.

“Let's decide this in one attack” Long Ce said. Tian Long nodded as he liked this idea because he doesn't want to reveal more of his strength.

“Fire Rampage Art!” Long Ce shouted as fire exploded filling half of the arena

Meanwhile Tian Long used his invented battle technique as five wave of fire sword qi moved in the direction of Long Ce.

The crowd were intently watching the battle. If Tian Long wins, it means that he can vie for the first position because Long Yan defeated Long Chen and is currently fighting Long Bilan and would soon defeat her. So if he lost or drew, he might not have the chance.

Both attack are using fire attack. But whose fire will emerge winner?

As they both attacked, the arena was filled with fire blocking the view of the crowd until..

Cough! Cough!

The fire vanished as they saw the situation in the arena. There were five narrow wound on Long Ce body as a drop of blood flowed from his mouth, looking at Tian Long they saw he was smiling with his mischievous eyes.

Only Long Ce knew what he encountered. As Tian Long attack entered his sea of fire, it was like a fish in the water making it stronger when attacking him. His attack was like a fuel to Tian Long attack

Not only that, the attack contained a level five sword consciousness. His attack was purely fire based, he didn't expect Tian Long was his nemesis.

“I admit defeat” Long Ce said as he left the arena. Before leaving, he heard Tian Long voice “Make sure you see me after the family meeting”

Even though Long Ce was confused by this, he nodded. He wondered why Tian Lon asked him to meet him.

Meanwhile, Tian Long watched as Long Ce left. He had expected this, the fire essence art grows stronger depending on the fire used and the cultivator of the user so Long Ce only helped in increasing the strength of the attack.

Leaving the arena, he saw that Long Chen and Long Bilan were battling. Looking at the battle, he knows who will emerge as the winner. Long Bilan was already getting suppressed.

Few minutes passed as Long Chen won the battle.

Long Ce: 1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses

Long Bilan: 0 win, 0 draw, 4 losses

Tian Long: 3 wins, 0 draw, 0 loss

Long Chen: 1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses

Long Yan: 3 wins, 0 draw, 0 loss

The City Lord announced the result.

“For the fifth position, we have Long Bilan” even though she didn't win any match, the crowd cheered for her. She was the only lady in the top 5

“Due to some coincidence, we don't have a fourth position”

“For the third position, we have Long Chen and Long Ce” The crowd cheered especially for Long Chen, he is a dark horse.

“Now for the final match. Am sure you all are expecting who the winner would be” The crowd began to make noise hearing this.

“Long Yan and Tian Long”

The crowd cheered. A true dark horse and the number one genius of the Long Family, who will emerge the winner.

“Long Bilan, meet me after the family meeting” Tian Long said as he left for the arena leaving the confused Long Bilan.

Now the arena has been fused back into one. Stepping into the arena, he saw Long Yan and the formation eye trembled.

Checking the physique, Tian Long blood began to boil.

‘This is a true opponent’

Body Refiner are those who follow the path of cultivating the body. You can only be a body refiner when you reach foundation establishment realm except those who has the fire physique and have special technique like the main character can be a body refiner at body refining realm
