Wu Yun eyes the thin slice dangling from Shu Ai's chopstick with suspicion.
Will there even be a point in eating it? Can he trust anything Shu Ai says?
If he gives in now, over such a small thing, Shu Ai will just continue to find ways to manipulate and persuade him into doing what he wants.
He turns his face away from him with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. "Nevermind, then."
Shu Ai's lips tighten minutely in a moue of displeasure. "How long are you going to be stubborn for?"
"However long it takes for you to let me go," Wu Yun says, not bothering to meet Shu Ai's eyes.
"You're even more foolish than I thought if you think you're ever going to leave here alive," Shu Ai says. He grips the sides of Wu Yun's chin between his thumb and index fingers and forces him to look up at him from his position on the floor. "You don't think I'd let Ling Yan escape twice, did you?"
