<Chapter.02>
At the shining daylight, smoke of stinky vehicles floated up to the sky, filling up the blue sky with a bit greyish color.
The roadway was filled with vehicles, and the sidewalks was occupied by passerby.
In the middle of the city, located a coffee shop. A citizen of the country, counted of four was sitting at the table, seen through the glass-windowed side.
All of them were wearing an expression of rather serious, like the situation was closer to life and death, that if one were to do a one wrong mistake, it would lead to disarray and would caused confusion towards the said group.
Amidst of this, Kalix was looking through the window, glancing side by side, observing the expression of the four said persons, from the outside sidewalk, in front of the said coffee shop.
Somehow, he found it rather hesitant to head inside the coffee shop. Because the four said persons, are colleagues that sent him an invitation.
Kalix were thinking of ignoring the message at the beginning after he saw that it was a message sent by one of his old colleague, but due to lack of self-control. Kalix couldn't control himself, and tapped on the notification message in the screen of his smart phone, out of curiosity. Fortunately, the God of Fortune has finally befall him a fortune his been longing for.
The message was about a job interview, and they were somewhat lacking of an employees that's why they wanted to meet him for an interview.
It would be easy if the only ones, that are there are his old colleagues alone. But unfortunately, seemed like the God of Misfortune was still clinging to his side so freaking much, and decided to casted upon him a situation he would never imagine.
An unforgettable memory that will forever remain in his heart, and mind. His first love, Sandra.
At that moment, as Kalix continued to gaze over the said window, an eye of another met his.
It was from his first love, Sandra. Her eyes shone in curiosity, as her eye brows frowned over him a little, for a brief moment.
Maybe she was thinking, 'this person has been staring at us for so long now'.
But due to the dense-muscle head of Kalix, a thought like that never pierced through his god damn mind.
As his eyes met the one his been longing for, Kalix suddenly felt timid, and immediately turned his way to the other side.
And afterwards, shifted his gaze towards the glass-windowed shop which is reflecting his own image to himself, and started fixing his bangs, to make sure his usually straight hair was fixed into a handsome posture.
But no matter how he rubbed his hair, it was still down. And no matter how he tried to smile to looked more handsome, his face was still wearing his usually slacker eyes, and an average looks that you would see as common, in your everyday life.
Kalix slacker eyes, suddenly gloomed in despair. How could he face her now of all times, when he'll only might make her feel uncomfortable. But, even so. He badly wanted the job, so. no matter what, he couldn't afford to let this chance go to waste.
Heaavee….
Kalix gasped some air, in order to circulate his trembling body for a few seconds.
Hooooouu….
And afterwards, breathed out the air stocked into his throat before toughing up his broad shoulders.
Kalix repeated this a few times, before finally letting out a short groan.
***
Kalix walked inside the coffee shop, after his head cooled off. Sandra appearance was a huge impact to his mind, and Kalix couldn't shake it away for a brief moment. That's why it took him a while to prepared himself, and calm his nervous mind.
Kalix continued walking till he finally reached the destination his feets were leading him.
Awkwardly, Kalix was forced to greet them, as their backs were turned to him; "H, hello…"
Although he couldn't completely shake off his fear. Kalix could only bit his lips in frustration.
At least, some of the old colleagues that were there, were the same peers of his. And because of that, he felt a bit quite comfortable, and were able to put out a word.
"Long time no see." Kalix lightly tapped his neck for a few times, before slightly bowing his head.
The four persons who were sitting at the table with timid manners, turned their gazes directly into Kalix.
But before they could throw a greetings, back at him. An explosion burst out, out of nowhere. Seen through the glass-windowed, was a big explosion from the outside place, he would never imagine to happen.
Kalix tightly gasped his heart to control his trembling emotions from going out of control, using his palms.
Of all times, this sh*t happened to him.
"What is this of all time!", he thought.
Somehow, by looking at the expression of his old colleagues sitting at the couch. Kalix himself got curious on what's they're seeing right now.
Even Sandra, who usually has a poker face expression riding in her head, has her forehead dripping in sweat.
Finally deciding to take a quick glance on what they're looking at, Khalix immediately shifted his gaze into the outside place, through the glass-windowed eye sighting location.
And through his brown eyes, unfolded something he would never wish to see…
He saw hell…..
Buildings dancing in extremely red flames, and civilians who were seen running, while some of them were fallen into the ground, groaning in despair.
While on the other hand, the thing that he always mocked off, as being unreal. Appeared in his very eyes.
The identity of it was, Monsters.
