Will looked completely unperturbed by the splendor. He had mentioned coming to Mexico before…had he stayed in this exorbitant place then too? Hazel was afraid to ask because he had always brushed off her concerns about money before. He must be paid extremely well.
She decided to let it go and focus on how amazing this resort was. Noticing her sense of awe, he began listing some of the amenities for her. She was most astounded by the private beach.
Suddenly Hazel felt regretful that she didn't have any painting supplies with her. Painting at the beach was one of her favorite things to do. At least she had her sketch pad and camera. She could take pictures or draw things out and potentially transfer the ideas over to canvas later.
