Prologue

Dust slowly fell, envoloping the ground. With the broken tables and cluttered junk, the room felt small. With moonlight shining through the cobwebs, it gave the faintest whisp of light, but somewhat made it feel less comforting than without.

The rafters faintly creaked, and the windows shivered seeming to break free at any time. A smell of dry rot slowly slipped through from god knows where.

A wish for silence, yet ruined by the sounds of drenched footsteps nearing. Somone- or... Something- was nearing...

Scraping can be heard through the old dilapidated door. The walls surrounding the room dripped with mildew. As if the walls were bleeding, the smell of dry rot was replaced by the stench of rancid death.

Seemingly suffocating him, the room felt smaller. Throat dry, sweat dropped from his palms, and a feeling of light-headiness attacked him.

The man was trapped, in a corner, unable to escape. There was no way out.

The scraping outside abruptly stopped with the footsteps. Accompaning the halting of the noise, came the ragged breathing caressing upon the soon to be broken door.

The room shaked. Strings holding old broken lightings snapped, shattering glass upon the dark floor.

The glow of the night gleamed enough light to see the person's reflection. The shattered glass reflected the man's tensed and terrored face. His hair was a mess and his eyes were strained red, dirt covering his face.
