Mating Season 2

Audrey slowed down her steps as she neared the hall, slowly trailing behind her friends.

"Are you sure you want to wait for us inside the hall?" Sandra asked as she slowed her pace to wait for Audrey to catch up to her.

"Yes, it's okay, I'll just blend with the crowd," Audrey replied and held Sanra's hand, together, they walked into the large hall.

"I'll be right here," Audrey let go of Sandra's hand as she stepped aside, blending with the people standing by the side of the door.

"Then, I'll be right here too," Sandra said and weaved her way to Audrey.

She too, was trying to minimize her proximity with Lawrence who seemed to be finding it difficult to take his eyes off her.

Audrey smiled when her friend came to stand beside her, she knew she couldn't ask her to go be with the others because once Sandra's decided on something, you can't change her mind so easily.
