"It's been hours...is he ever coming back?" Mary asked as they sat under the orchid.
Audrey sighed. She didn't know either.
"He'll be back," Alpha Lake said, holding Audrey's hand in his.
"Yeah...he will," Audrey replied.
"Hey, look," Maria said, tapping Audrey and pointing to the girls who were still lying beside the river.
Audrey looked and saw that the whole petals of the flower had soaked all up, the once white petals were now darker than the night.
"It's done," Audrey said and stood, walking toward the girls.
She observed them closely, their once paling skin now had a hue of life to it, and their eyes didn't seem sunken anymore.
