One Week Later...
The older seniors were out protecting Jacob Greengrass during his time doing whatever the hell one does, so John and Aria were tasked with taking care of the three inhabitants of the cottage.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Emptying the magazine, John quickly presses the button to release the magazine from his Glock and flicks the magazine away. Taking a magazine from his chest pouch, he reloads the gun and pushes down on the slide release before aiming at his target once more.
In under 2 seconds, he had reloaded the gun and prepped it for another magazine, something he'd call progress since this was only his 2nd week of owning the gun. Putting the gun back into his holster, he picks up the discarded magazine and kept it safely.
"That's a muggle weapon, isn't it? I've seen it before in a muggle museum!"
One more week, and the mission is over thankfully. He was getting tired of Daphne and Aria sticking to him like a glue, heck, she's doing it now too for no reason at all! Looking behind him a few feet away, he sees Daphne with Aria under a Protego that Aria constructed, with them watching him training.
He had quickly got out of the cottage to the back of it when Astoria was about to sleep, so both Celine and Astoria were back in the cottage.
"Could you two stop?"
"Nope!"
"Nu-uh!"
The two replied as he just sighed. Looking back, he should have kept quiet. Sitting down on the ground, he uses Mana Tendrils to push the empty bullet cartridges away before focusing on his Magic Core.
He was going to now train Accio, the Summoning Charm. He was close to it, he could feel it.
The benefit of Accio was the speed and distance that Accio provided. Compared to Mana Tendril which had a maximum speed of 10 m/s and a max distance of only 5 meters, Accio was outright leaps ahead with a maximum speed of 80 m/s, and a max distance of 1 kilometer.
From what the books say, you have to use the image of a hook pulling onto an object, but he just couldn't do it even though his intent was there.
"Accio target!"
He said out loud as he focused on the target that he was using prior before. As usual, the object just shakes slightly before staying in place. Time to grind the points, he guessed. It was, after all, something that he was good at.

It was a quiet night as always. He had always loved the silence of the night, it was what kept him from going crazy back in his old life when he was hooked up to machines.
Looking at the ceiling, he closed his eyes as he tossed and turned around his bed, trying to sleep, but it was nigh as always. Sitting up, he walks to his table to try and bore himself to sleep by reloading all his magazines with ammunition.
Click. Click. Click.
Slowly, one by one, he loaded the magazines each at a time until every single one was filled. Looking at the window, he sighed at boredom.
On the other 40 jobs, he had never taken a life. It was always Edwin who took them, but that doesn't mean that he did not witness them. No, he witnessed all of them, every single last one of the kills.
He saw the eyes of someone who was slowly dying by either blood lost or some other way of dying. It was not pretty, but this was his job. At least the fighting aspect was fun, weaving through spells while firing his own.
While he was looking out of the window, suddenly his sharp eyes caught movement. Frowning, he focused harder on the flying dot before his eyes widened. There were about a dozen flying dots in the sky getting larger and larger by the second. Those shapes, abnormal speed of which they were enlarging, too stable balancing, and direction were too foreign to be a random flock of birds.
"Noire!"
Edwin jumped at him calling him. He looked at John who was running to shove his magazines into his chest pouch.
"About a dozen of flying objects coming directly to the cottage! From their sizes, they were cloaked wizards on brooms!"
Edwin got out of his bed in a flash as he placed his wand onto his neck to cast a Sonorus, the Louden Charm, to his voice box.
"Everyone! We're under attack!"
His voice propagated across the room when he suddenly cursed, his face grim.
"They just entered the outer wards! 14 of them, coming in fast, ETA 2 minutes!"
The Fidelius Charm was a powerful charm, there was no way that anyone could enter unless they've been given the address to the hidden location.
They have been compromised.

Guiding the family to the backdoor of the cottage, Charles tried to Apparitate, but cursed when he didn't.
"They set up anti-Apparition wards, we can't get out."
"What about our emergency portkey?"
Jacob asked with panic as he gripped onto his wand tightly. Edwin pushed magic into the ring on his finger, a portkey meant for emergencies only that transports someone to one of Edwin's safe houses, but from his head shake, that meant that whoever's coming for them set up an anti-Portkey ward too.
This was a planned hit, that meant that they were compromised a long time ago.
Drawing his gun, he grips it tight as they exited the cottage, scanning the area with the Glock and Homenum Revelios. Edwin and Charles dug into their robes to bring out shrunken brooms. Expanding them, they gave one per 2 people each, Edwin and John, Charles and Aria, Jacob and Daphne, and Celine with Astoria (With a baby-proof broom).
Sitting at the back, John briefly thought that the broom did not hurt his jewels at all, must be cushion charms.
Launching from the ground, they soared through the skies with fast speeds, at least 40-50 kph. The flying was smooth at the start until the first bolt of magic soared past them, almost hitting Celine and Astoria.
Looking back, he confirmed his suspicions. They were Death Eaters from their iconic cloaks and their liking of spamming Avada Kedavras, the Killing Curse. He still had no idea how they even had the amount of Mana used to shoot our multiple A.K.s, but that's for another time.
Turning back, he points his Glock at one of the closer Wizards with one hand, aiming perfectly and breathing calmly to not shake his aim before firing.
BANG!
The bullet did not hit his target perfectly. He aimed for the head, but factors made the attack hit the chest, but it did its job as the man yelled in pain and dropped from his broom, falling to the darkness in the night.
With nothing holding him back, he starts unloading the bullets onto the Death Eaters.
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!
They've seemed to get what a gun does, as the Wizards immediately activated Protegos mid-flight to block the gun shots. Hearing the gun clicking, he sees that the slide has locked to the rear. Quickly let go of the broom, using his core muscles to balance himself as he took out a fresh magazine.
Flicking the magazine in the gun out, watching it fall to the ground, he loads the new magazine back into the Glock before holding onto the broom. Seeing magic spells being fired near him means that their group has finally started to fight back, launching magic at the Death Eaters from basic Magik Fulmens (Mana Bolts) to high-powered Combat Spells like Expelliarmus, the Disarming Spell, and Confringo, the Blasting Spell.
Pressing the slide lock to rack the slide, he points before continuing to fire bullets at the flying enemies, hoping to slow them down to lose them.
