As we were alone in the classroom. I was starting to get a little nervous. After all the string professor McGonagall was watching my every expression. Although in films she was said to be a good person it might be a little different here. But then I felt Slyde moving inside my clothes almost like saying to me to calm down.
With his help, I again focused on the professor's question.
'Huh, what was the question? Shit, I forgot. How stupid can I be to instantly forget? Now it will look like I don't want to answer. Well, I'm going to have to ask again.'
"Umm can you repeat your question please?" I said awkwardly. This was starting to turn looking kind of bad.
"Of course Mr.Walker I asked where --- --- --- ---- ------- ----?"
'Okay, now what the fuck is happening. Why do I only hear some mumbling? Okay, this is bad. I have to answer something or it will be even worse.'
"I don't know professor." This was the only thing I could currently think of to answer. I worriedly looked at professor McGonnagalls face and saw a slight frown slowly appearing. My plan was slowly crumbling down. The more I realized that my goal was now useless since it required me to have a good impression on others.
Look like I will have to improvise.
"Okay, Mr.Walker although I would be happier if you could answer my questions I must respect some of your privacy." She said as she looked disapprovingly at me. The more she looked at me the more I saw in her eyes that she had a lot of questions to ask me.
"Can you at least tell me how old are you?" With that question being asked I knew my plan was doomed.
"I don't know professor."
"What is the name of the orphanage you lived in?"
"I don't know professor"
"Where is that orphanage?!"
"I don't know professor. But it should be somewhere in the forest."
'I am dead. I literally can't answer any of her questions. This is bad. If I continue doing this they may even use some magic to make me answer. In that case, I should try to escape.'
"You are certainly not making this easy for me Mr.Walker. Since you don't want to answer my questions I will lead you to the school's headmaster."
Now almost scared shitless I stood there as professor McGonnagal slowly stood up and went towards the door while gesturing me to follow her.
I was so scared that I started to think about things they would do to me to make me answer. 'Would they use some potion to make me say the truth? Would they use some magic to read my mind? Would they torture me, or even use Slyde's safety to threaten me? If anyone learns how much I used dark magic I would be put into jail as a dark wizard. I need to get out of here somehow. But if I use dark magic to get out of here somehow they won't accept me to this school in the future. Or they could even hunt me down.
Although I think I am strong enough to beat this professor with my power. But that would happen if I released 100% of dark magic. But I still want to attend this school someday.
As we went around the castle I looked all around me. Hogwarts was a cool place. Although this week was the Christmas holidays and students could go home. That didn't mean that some students wanted to stay and enjoy the scenery of Hogwarts. That meant that there were still many students around the halls.
Maybe because there were no classes because of the holidays the atmosphere today was joyful. Some students looked at me with curiousness.
Well, you don't see someone wearing something similar to my clothes every day. Especially a child.
As I was still thinking in a panic about what to do for around 30 minutes. You can't blame me at that time. I was so scared that something would happen to me or they would do something to make me answer. I was so scared that I was already touching and holding my dagger in case of danger.
After crossing many stairs that were moving up and down, from left to right we finally reached the place.
It was a short hall somewhere I assumed to be west of Hogwarts. There was nothing but a lifelike statue of a gargoyle at end of the hall with an open mouth.
As we went before the gargoyle professor McGonnagal still with a frown on her face serious and commandingly said what I assumed to be a password.
"Love is a power."
As the statue gargoyle heard that, it slowly stood up and made a way for us.
"You should go there alone Mr.Walker I have already told the principal about the matter. There is no need to be scared."
"Okay, professor. Goodbye for now." I said as l looked at the imposing grey stairs that were spiraling up. There were some moving people in the portraits on the walls. There was a small window near the portraits.
As I was still thinking about how to escape since my plan failed, and I didn't want to go to Azkaban any time soon.
Then I realized as I looked again at the window. While the window is small. It still should be enough for a small child like me to sneak out through.
I could already see another big door probably leading directly to Dumbledore. As Dumbledore was also called the white lord, I didn't want to mess with him.
I quickly made a plan.
I would make it look like I am walking towards the dumbledores door since the portraits are watching me. At the moment I am close enough to knock on the door I would run towards the window that should be around 5 meters away. I would run through it and jump out.
As we are in a tower from what I noticed from the window jumping out and falling is not a joke even with my stronger body.
What I would do is I would slowly and carefully climb down using the walls of the tower as a place to hold on. I believe it will still be a little difficult but with my training on trees, I should be able to do it even if it has a completely different texture.
I really didn't want to be put into prison for being a dark wizard so I had to continue with my plan even though I was quite curious about how the principal's office would look like.
I slowly made my way towards the door under the look of the portraits.
As I was about to knock on the door I suddenly turned around and ran at full speed towards the window.
I didn't have much time to accelerate so I had to bring out the full power of my muscles.
As I was already before the window I jumped with my foot in front to break the glass. My momentum kept me in the air while the foot was colliding with glass.
The glass was probably reinforced since the moment I broke the glass my foot was almost broken. It only felt painful for a while and then the magic immediately came in and healed the bruised place.
I nearly fitted inside the hole in the window as the broken parts of the window scratched various parts of my body. Especially the one on the back was quite deep I think that even with the magic it would leave a scar.
As I finally flew comically out of the window I looked down and noticed that I was higher than I thought I would be. I quickly stuck to a wall and started climbing down, as Slyde finally showed up silently looking at me.

An old man was sitting in an office behind a big table with numerous things on it. Including a mythical phoenix. He looked relaxed and kind. But in his eyes was revealed a wise mind. He was the current principal of the School of Magic and Sorcery also named Hogwarts.
Dumbledores POV:
'Minerva sent an invisible Patronus to me that said that there is a child named Eric Walker that looks like some kind of hunter. She also mentioned that she felt a hint of him using dark magic. When she asked him further about things he didn't respond to her. She said that I should try myself as they would be there in a few minutes.'
I suddenly heard the sound of glass being broken but didn't mind.
'A vase probably just fell as the child accidentally bumped into it. There is no need to think about it. He should be knocking on the door soon.'
After a few minutes of no one knocking on the door, I was starting to get a little skeptical.
'Did something happen to him? Maybe I should go check.'
But I gave it another 5 minutes as I didn't want to look weird in the first impression.
As no one came to my door I slowly got up and opened the door myself. I looked around at the short spiraling staircase. It was the moment I saw the broken window I finally confirmed that something was wrong there.
The portraits around looked at me and said while crying and sobbing.
"He killed himself! He jumped out of the window professor! You have to help him!"
As I was calming down the portraits I started thinking about the child.
'No normal child could break the window. Even an adult window could not break a window that was made by goblins by a physical force alone. Why would he kill himself if he had that power? Wait. Maybe he hasn't killed himself but just escaped?'
The thought seemed to be theoretically possible but practically impossible. After all, you would need some professional training to be able to climb down.
*Sigh*
'I wonder what are his secrets that he even used such methods just to hide his secrets.'
-----
Back to Eric's POV:
'THANK GOD THAT I MADE IT DOWN! That was seriously exhausting. I was worried that Dumbledore would come out and look but he thankfully didn't.'
I thought as I was already down on the trail road, slowly making my way toward London.
