enchanting the ring of sage

a month has passed since the party and during this month Alex is constantly working on achieving an AOE (area of effect) domain and enchanting the ring with his dispel enchant, but the runes needed for it needed to be created since there is no dispel rune in magical world and every time he tried to create one , there is an explosion or the object will break into pieces from it.

he is now thinking how to make a rune that never existed before, Dumbledore is observing him time to time and sometimes he placed a trace of magic on him. Alex is removing it from time to time to save himself from the old man's gaze.

whenever Dumbledore is in great hall , he is watching Alex with eyes of curiosity, this gives Alex a headache on how to evade this old man.

Alex goes to Rowena's lab and forbidden section in the library everyday and tries to search for a spell that works as AOE and also studying the runes to achieve creation of new ones.

but his months reasearch is of no fruit in this month and he is barely close to create a rune , but the AOE domain has slow progress.

December appeared , and every wizard is waiting for Christmas holidays to arrive, Alex on the other hand is only studying and muttering like a madman in the library, Harry is concerned about his brother that he is doing some insane things again, Ron ignored Alex and Hermione is in a book mania always , so she doesn't care also.

Alex now reached to a stage in runes that can be comparable to the ancients who used the runes. he stays in his room and constantly trying to form a rune on a rectangle shaped black thorn wood from the system.

at last a few days before Christmas holidays ,he achieved in creating a new rune and also stabilized it along with seals and rune array patterns. it's working perfectly, the day Alex worked the whole night taking of the ring of sage and drawing mini array patterns and circuits along with the dispel he invented.

the magic carved knife which imprints the runes is almost turned to pieces by this month's work and Alex succeded in enchanting the ring of sage with dispel rune and a self recharging magic circuit that will gather the magic into the ring. he looked at the status of the ring:

ring of sage(strengthened version) - contains the magic of sage can defend the user when life is threatened and activates a shield for 10 mins. can be used 10 times a day.

additional effects: -

1.dispel(removes Status ailments from the user), can be used once every day.

2.mending (the ring repairs itself using magic from the surroundings and also provides magic power stored in the ring to recharge the magic of user and the effects of the ring. )

looking at the ring's effects Alex nodded in satisfaction, his month hardwork resulted in strengthening the ring, although dispel can only be used once for now, he can upgrade the circuit in the future and decrease the cooldown besides dispel needs huge amounts of magic power.

Alex closed the system and thought to enchant the rings using dispel rune and his body growled at this moment reminding him that he didn't ate since morning and goes towards the great hall for dinner.

he noticed Harry , Ron and Hermione approaching him and they all spoke at once,

" Alex professor Snape is trying steal something that is guarded by the dog, Harry saw Snape limping and also observed his wound on the day of troll incident, he is trying to do something , we have to stop him".

Alex felt a headache from this, he thought he successfully prevented them from the plot, but didn't expect them to suspect Snape.
