Felix feels a bit suspicious about Mcgonagall's decision to let him go outside without any further questioning or objection. He thinks to himself that it is highly unlikely for a professor to simply allow a student to roam around outside in the middle of the night without any reason. Felix starts to feel that he might be under surveillance,
"I do not have to privelege to care about them at this point in my life"
Felix thought and then he noticed a familiar figure.
Felix stopped in his tracks as he noticed Professor Snape staring at him. He took a deep breath and approached the stern-looking professor.
"Good evening, Professor Snape," Felix greeted him respectfully.
Snape eyed him for a moment before asking, "What are you doing wandering around the school at this hour, Mr. Hermian?"
Felix did not missed that Snape knew his name without even he taken a class from him.
Felix hesitated for a moment before answering, "I was given permission to go outside or walk in the school by Professor McGonagall, sir."
Snape raised an eyebrow skeptically, "Is that so?"
"Yes, sir," Felix replied confidently.
Snape studied him for a few seconds longer before finally nodding, "Very well. Just be careful, Mr. Hermian. The halls can be dangerous at night, especially for those who are unprepared."
Felix nodded gratefully, "Thank you, Professor Snape. I will be careful."
With that, Snape continued on his way, and Felix continued his walk outside, still wondering why he was allowed to roam freely at night.
"In the end, Snape was not too bad against me most likely because I am not a Gryffindor or Harry Potter himself. I remember that Snape and father of Harry Potter, James had problems back then."
"Not to mention the fact that Snape loved the mother of Harry Potter but Lilly decided to marry with James."
Felix took a deep breath and then come to exit of castle.
He looked around and then left the castle walking towards to the hut of Hagrid, where he lived alone with his creatures.
As Felix approached Hagrid's hut, he could see the flicker of light from the window and hear the muffled sound of Hagrid's voice. He walked around the hut, admiring the grounds in the moonlight. The Forbidden Forest loomed in the distance, and Felix couldn't help but feel a bit of trepidation at the thought of what lurked within.
He then turned his attention back to Hagrid's hut and noticed a small figure walking towards him. As the figure approached, Felix realized it was Hagrid himself, his massive form looming in the darkness.
Hagrid greeted Felix warmly,
"Oh, Felix, what are you doing here at this hour, did you left the school without seen by anyone."
Felix explained that he couldn't sleep and wanted to take a walk and Mcgonagall knew that he is taking a walk. Hagrid nodded knowingly and offered to show Felix some of the creatures that roamed the grounds at night.
Together, they walked around the grounds, Hagrid pointing out various creatures and telling Felix about their habits and characteristics. Felix was fascinated and grateful for the experience, feeling like he was learning more about the magical world with every step.
