Beautiful Dream!

After showing Xin Mei his room, his bathroom and walk in closet where he had already emptied half of the shelf and after showing her the secret room, Su Yuchen left her alone.

"Xin Mei, you make yourself comfortable in the room and on the bed. I have some important work. I will come back to the room later in the night."

Su Yuchen smiled to Xin Mei. He knew she would be hesitant to sleep in his presence, so he decided to leave his room beforehand.

Xin Mei smiled at his thoughtfulness and watched his back when he left the room. Once he was gone, she made her way towards the bathroom. There she had a long shower after which she changed herself into her nightdress.

She looked at her stuff which was placed in the corner of the changing room. She decided to arrange it in the wardrobe the next day.

She returned to the room. With much hesitation, she laid down on the bed. She took the right corner as her side and slept on its edge. She knew she could trust on Su Yuchen but still, she was nervous.

Due to tiredness and anxiety, Xin Mei didn't know when she fell asleep.

After spending an hour in the office, doing nothing except for looking at his marriage certificate, Su Yuchen returned to his room. He was eager to see the beautiful face of his wife.

That night, Su Yuchen had the best dream of his night. After so long, he didn't dream of his past about his Mian but dream about his beautiful future with Xin Mei and his babies.

He saw himself running behind a three-year-old girl who was exactly like her mother with brown eyes and brown hair. He could see the little girl was also identical to his Mian.

"Father, you can't catch me. I run faster than you." Little girl looked at her father and poked her tongue out.

Su Yuchen chuckled before chasing after his daughter. He held his princess in his arms and hosted her up in the air. He felt warmth in his heart when he heard her loud chuckles.

After hosting her up in the air, for multiple times, he made her sit on his shoulders.

"Father, take me to mother." The little girl giggled and gripped hard around the hand of her father.

Su Yuchen took her toward the swing where his wife was reading a magazine. Her hand was placed on her huge belly. She was gently stroking her belly.

"Mother, look where I am sitting."

Xin Mei looked up and smiled when she saw her husband and daughter. Su Yuchen felt his heart beating fast when he saw the mesmerizing smile on his wife's face. She looked more radiant and beautiful when pregnant.

Su Yuchen walked toward her. He gently placed his daughter down on the grass and took his place beside his wife. He securely wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Xin Mei smiled and leaned on his shoulder.

Su Yuchen placed his hand on her belly and looked at his daughter who was now running behind a rabbit.

This was the life he dreamt off. What more he needed from other than a happy wife and kids!

Next morning, Xin Mei woke up before Su Yuchen. Last night, Su Yuchen slept very late so he was sleeping for long. Besides, he didn't want to wake up from his beautiful dream.

When Xin Mei woke up, she was disoriented at first to find herself in an unfamiliar room and with a man's arm wrapped around her waist but soon she remembered about her marriage.

She panicked for a second when she saw the strong arm of Su Yuchen which was protectively wrapped around her waist. She panicked when noticed that she was the one who ended up on his side of the bed.

She only relaxed when she noticed that he was asleep. She took a deep breath in relaxation.

Slowly and softly, she removed his arm which was around her waist. She came out from his arms and maintained a distance in between them.

Once away from him, she turned towards him and looked at his face. He looked so peaceful when sleeping. He looked like a baby.

Xin Mei took her own time to admire the beautiful face of Su Yuchen. She noticed his long eyelashes and dense eyebrows. She also admired his strong chin bone. She itched to scratch on his chin. She had heard it was an intimate moment in between husband and wife.

She looked at his dark hair locks which were falling on his forehead. She gently removed his hairs and smiled at the sight of his face. Her husband was very handsome!

Once satisfied with ogling at her husband and feeling glad that he didn't wake up to catch her red-handed, she stood up from the bed. She made her way towards the bathroom.

She remembered Su Yuchen liked the food from her hand that day. So she decided to cook breakfast for him. Besides, she wanted him to have homemade food.

After a shower, she went to the changing room where she heard the voice of a girl. She jumped at first but then realized it was the voice of the robot assistant.

"Good morning mistress. Today is a very pleasant day. Would you like me to recommend you the dress for the day?"

"No, thank you." Xin Mei rejected. She wasn't habitual of getting such robotic assistance.

After getting ready, Xin Mei went downstairs and in the kitchen. She looked around in the kitchen and felt bad for Su Yuchen. The pantry was empty the refrigerator was empty except for some cold water bottle. She didn't find many eatables in the kitchen.

She could now understand why Bai Yue was so worried for Su Yuchen. He had tendency to die from hunger!

She sighed and pulled out all the rare ingredients which she found in the kitchen. After running her mind, she quickly decided upon what to cook. She was trying a new dish as she didn't have any other option.

She had just started to cook the food when the doorbell rang. She frowned and went to open the door. She opened the door to find a lady standing opposite to her.

"Yes?" Xin Mei asked.

The lady opposite to her also frowned when she saw another lady had opened the door for her. She was the maid of the mansion. She was cleaning the house of Su Yuchen from the last two years but she had never seen any other woman in his house.

It was always Su Yuchen in the house who opened the door for her. Nor she had known that her master was close to any women then what was a lady doing on his house?

Was she her master's girlfriend? Wife? Who was she? A lot of questions ran in the mind of the maid. She also cross checked if she hadn't rung the bell of the wrong house.

"Yes?" Xin Mei again asked.

"I am the housekeeper of Mister Su. I clean his house and wash clothes for him." The maid introduced herself.

Realization dawned upon Xin Mei. She opened the door wide and let her enter in. She didn't know how to address the maid so she asked her to do her work as usual.

After instructing maid, Xin Mei returned to the kitchen to cook the breakfast.
