Chapter 4 : Believe in Him!

"Wh-What?" kageyama was in disbelief as saw the serve tsukishima served went towards izumi and he couldn't pass it to kageyama and it out of the court

*Whistle*

"Do-Don't mind izumi" Hinata said as he wanted cheer izumi up

'It's happening the way he izumi said, he didn't practice at all since his first-year middle school we tried to get him to practice in the morning but all he did is workout and running instead of practicing with us' Kageyama thought looking at izumi

'But still looking at him missing a serve as normal as that one, as i thought he should've just train with us' Kageyama felt irritated at that as he frown but he knew after not playing more than 2 years or something this is expected 

'i wish we had 1 more player with us, we could've practice by playing 3v3 in the morning, well anyways i trust his skills and i have faced him firsthand i just have cover for him till he gets used to it' 

"Guess Mr.Elite is out of his game, Let's crush them thoroughly and perish the king at that" Tsukishima said as he got confident after that last serve and got ready to serve again

Tsukishima aimed at izumi again as ball got near him he this time passed it kageyama effortlessly kageyama was at the centre-front of the court izumi ran towards right side of the court to spike as hinata went towards left everyone expect the morning secret training batch got surprised as izumi and hinata ran very fast to reach their position izumi was first to reach yamaguchi watching that got Infront of izumi as they both jumped kageyama set the ball to hinata this time kiyoko was the only one surprised at hinata's jumping power as others already were aware of it

'Alright this is my first spike in High School, my journey to be Next Tiny Giant starts here' Hinata was grinning hard as he spike the ball though it got kill block by tsukishima, there was again another tall wall Infront of him

"That jump surprised me, now only if you were a foot taller you would have been a star" Said tsuki in mocking tone

Match Kept going as kageyama keep setting to hinata because he wasn't sure that izumi can pull it off yet or not but watching hinata keep getting blocked he was frustreded, though izumi didn't mess up at all after his first receive

"Hey king thinking of changing to your special toss the kind which destroys your opponents and allies as well" tsuki taunted kageyama

"Will you shup up already" Said kageyama as he had enough of his blabbering

As the conversion started and kageyama confessed his scare of not having a spiker to spike his sets though rubbing it off hinata got him still to keep tossing and while at it get rid of this Four-Eyed Bastard 

Izumi at that chucked a little enough for everyone to notice but nobody said anything though they all were surprised as they didn't thought that this guy had it in him 

Well except for kageyama as he remember izumi's behaviour still it gave him the idea that izumi might be ready to get this done atleast at average-level

Scoreboard 6-1 (A/N Hinata,Kageyama and Izumi got one point because yamaguchi messed up a serve) 

Daichi served the ball izumi picked it up and ran towards the net at left-side hinata who was already there jumped at left-side

Kageyama who after listening to hinata wanted to see his resolve but still thought that izumi is getting better and more comfortable as time passes also he had a trust in izumi's skill's as well so he decided to set it towards him

"KAGEYAMA!" Hinata Yelled from backside of kageyama as he was about set it to izumi turned his direction and set it to hinata with a fast set which hinata barely touched but it got over the net Daichi and tsukishima tried to get it but the ball fell close to the net so they couldn't get it

"All of a sudd"

"The ball reached where i was, i don't anything about your junior high I'm glad for any kinds of set I'll jump anywhere I'll hit any kind of ball so keep tossing to me!!!" Hinata said with bright face

On the side sugawara could only admire how good kageyama is at tossing he knew that toss was for izumi but he changed it as soon as he saw hinata

Tanaka on the other hand was surprised 

"Oi you two can do quick attacks when did you practice that" Tanaka said as he walked towards them

"What? No i only hit the tosses which goes up like 'BWOOOOOO' and look like a mountain." Hinata said bewildered expression

At the side of the court izumi listing to this had an idea but he didn't interrupt yet coz hinata was declaring to tsuki about his disadvantages of being small doesn't matter to him to which surprisingly kageyama joined and gave him a push izumi walked up to both and dragged both of them other side of the court as they both were reluctant at first but felt that this must be important as izumi doesn't act up without good reason so they followed him willing, tanaka and sugawara also joined them forming a circle.

"What are they talking about over" Yamaguchi getting restless as their opponents were plotting something with 2 seniors helping them

"Don't worry that last point was a fluke we are practically winning this without a sweat" Tsukishima made it clear to him as he also wanted to calm his childhood friend

"wh-what? that's not how a quick attack works" Tanaka yelled from the other side of the court

Match started as everyone got in their positions kageyama jump served it went towards yamaguchi which he failed to pick up ,kageyama was glad that it didn't go towards daichi 

He served again which daichi picked up towards tsuki who tossed it to yamaguchi who spiked it hinata tried to get it but it bounced off of him though to their surprise izumi got their with dive and passed it to kageyama, hinata watching this ran to jump kageyama completely focused saw hinata's movement and accurately aimed his toss to hinata's palm

'BAM'

As the next moment ball hit the other side of the court most ot them were bewildered 

'YES!!' Kageyama felt happy that it worked like a charm as izumi suggested

Hinata on the other asking literally everyone about they seen what happened or not Later on daichi dropped another bomb about hinata spiking it with his eyes closed 

While they everyone were shocked about that last attack daichi and suga looked at izumi

'What the was that receive, it's like he knew that hinata will miss that spike' Daichi thought glancing at izumi

'His plan worked the way he explained he got two troublemakers make a perfect duo right now' Suga thought remembering their talk a 1 Min. ago

Two Minutes Ago

"Hinata what do you think of kageyama's tosses" Izumi asked to hinata

"Hmm well they are neat and easy to hit since he is perfect with his movements even though he himself is crappy but yeah his tosses are good" Hinata said with a straight face which started a quarrel between them 

"So if he were given a job to toss would you believe in him that his toss will get to you" Izumi asked 

"Well he does so yeah" Hinata said while pushing kageyama's face aside as they were going at each other's throat while tanaka and suga were trying to stop them

"Kageyama what do you think of hinata's speed and jumping power" Izumi asked ignoring the quarrel which was happening right inn front of him

"Well he can jump really high for a shrimp and got speed like of a tiny squirrel" Kageyama said as he got away from hinata and stood Infront of izumi

"Then think if hinata with his speed getting right were you could set your special toss right where he is and which he will spike, I'm talking about a super-fast quick attack" Izumi said as his were getting hinata and suga excited 

"But he can't hit something so fast, he will miss every single set like that" Kageyama said 

"I never said that hinata doesn't have experience or any techniques but do don't aim for hinata aim for his palm right when it's time to spike" Izumi declared what he envisioned his thoughts out loud

"Wh-what? that's not how quick attack works" Tanaka yelled in refusal

"You! Run as fast as you can and get where are no blockers jump as high as you can i will get the ball where you are you don't need to look at the ball just swing your hand as hard as you can" Kageyama declared as he and izumi started getting in position

"He izumi need to talk come with me" right after attack went successful kageyama pulled izumi who had a hint of smile when that attack was a success hinata also followed them

"Tell me do you also believe in my tosses, cause I believe in your skills completely" Kageyama said with determined expression
