Chapter 7: Guts' Research

Guts had spent the last three years of his life in the Wan Shi Tong Library. During this time, he had studied tirelessly everything related to martial arts, spirits, and firebending. He had gone through hundreds of books and acquired incredible knowledge about the world he was trapped in.

He had learned to master fire and lightning using Chi, the life energy that flows through the human body. He understood how to control this energy to increase the power of his attacks and protect himself against enemy attacks. He also learned how to block other's Chi and use this technique to immobilize his enemies.

But he was still searching for a way to go back home. Guts had gone through dozens of ancient scrolls, searching for information on inter-dimensional portals that could help him return home.

Over time, Guts had perfected his mastery of Chi, becoming able to use this energy to heal wounds and increase his strength and speed. He also developed a friendship with Wan Shi Tong, the spirit of the library, and they often discussed various topics, including the history and culture of the world he was in.

However, despite his progress, Guts was still frustrated at not having found a way back home. He had spent long hours in the library, studying the most obscure and ancient texts, searching for clues that could help him. He even began to wonder if he should give up the idea of going back home and settle permanently in this new world.

One day, after three years of searching, Guts was sitting in a corner of the library, exhausted and frustrated. He had gone through all the books he could find on firebending, spirits, and inter-dimensional dimensions. He had started to believe that there simply was no solution to his problem. He was ready to give up his quest and accept his new life.

But as he prepared to leave, something caught his eye. An ancient scroll was stuck between two books on a shelf. He had never seen it before, and he was convinced that he had already gone through this section of the library several times. He stood up and approached the shelf to take a closer look at the scroll.

The parchment was written in an ancient and mysterious language, but Guts was convinced that it contained important information.

Guts takes the parchment and begins to study the symbols and drawings on it carefully.

He spends days and nights trying to understand the parchment. He remembers his training in ancient language and manages to decipher some key words and phrases. However, it is clear that his lack of experience in the occult sciences prevents him from fully understanding the parchment.

One day, when he was about to give up, he has an idea. If the parchment provided instructions for opening an inter-dimensional portal, then perhaps the spirits of the library could help him understand. He then asks Wan Shi Tong to help him understand the parchment.

Wan Shi Tong is initially reluctant to help Guts, knowing that opening an inter-dimensional portal is a dangerous and risky venture. However, Guts is determined to go home and eventually convinces Wan Shi Tong to help him.

Together, they spend days studying the parchment, trying to understand the symbols and drawings. Eventually, they manage to decipher most of the parchment and understand how to open the inter-dimensional portal.

Guts is both excited and terrified at the idea of crossing the portal. He doesn't know exactly where it will lead and what the consequences of his journey will be. However, he is willing to take the risk to go home.
