A different scenery lies. Observing the place, it's like a ruined temple with some large beams surrounding it. Looking at those large massive beams, my intuition tells me this place invokes danger.
I try to examine the place further when I hear a cold faint voice.
"Hear ye…Hear ye…To those who enter this place…."
Wraith. It's a floating ghost-type monster with a dark cloak covering its essence.
Without hesitation, I bring out my stone sword inside my satchel. Run towards the monster, jumps on top of this ghostly being and thrust my sword to its chest.
Wraith: Agrhh!!! Foolish child! You have not let me finish…
Ray: Hmpft!
It's last deadly voice echoes inside the temple.
*That was quick. Piece of cake. Not even challenging. *
I'm celebrating upon my kill, when suddenly a strong wind rushes over me. A giant shadow appears and covers the area. I sense more danger ahead from the creature.
A gigantic looking man as tall as the doorway enters. A Gin to be exact. Dark spiritual monsters who govern the world elements. The Gin I encounter has a flame on his head. Its entire body burns like magma and emits smoke all over its being.
I can feel from its ponderous steps and its heavy breath the intense power it holds. It speaks.
Fire Gin: YOU LOWLY HUMAN!!! HOW DARE YOU KILL MY SERVANT?!! (*Such foolishness! A plebeian who just enter my dwelling. How disrespectful! *)
It seems he's enraged with me killing his servant. I need to be careful.
I prepare myself as the Gin begins to execute his attack. A fiery fist with its great force approaches me. I try to dodge it as fast as I could. With its overwhelming power the ground shatters. The force he releases is great. Painful and deadly.
If the Gin's fist hits me, there will be no trace left from my body for sure.
He releases and swings his fist towards me as I give my best to avoid getting hit. I grip tight to my stone sword and aim at his face. I thrust it as hard as I could. However, I fail to hurt him.
He begins to move his hand and strike me once more. I notice it quickly and avoid getting hit. I distance myself.
Ray: With your enormous body, you're pretty quick.
Fire Gin: DON'T BELITTLE ME, YOU FOOLISH HUMAN! I AM A SUPERIOR GIN. A GIN OF FIRE.
*Yeah. Very obvious. *
It continues.
Fire Gin: IN THIS PLACE, I'M ETERNAL. YOU'LL END UP BEING DEAD JUST LIKE THE OTHERS. I WILL PUNISH YOU FOR BEING INSOLENT!!!
Ray: Everything comes to a certain end. My mother once said that. I will let you experience it first!
I need to be serious if I want to get out of here alive. For the late introduction, I'm a fighter that specializes in using swords. Using my stone sword, I can make control it and make it multiply. Though my limit is only four.
I begin to concentrate and let my stone sword suspends in the air.
*Okay, then. *
Ray: EXPAND!
My sword grows big as a hill, even the Gin is impressed by its enormous appearance.
Fire Gin: Not bad. What can it do, huh?
Ray: I will show you.
I control it once more to increase its speed and make another thrust to the monster.
My sword is automatically blocked by its hand. It doesn't even leave a scratch on him.
Fire Gin: Your toy won't work on me. I'm made of fire. Stone can't hurt me.
Ray: Tch!
Using my mind fully control on my stone sword, I strike him again and again. The Fire Gin doesn't bother being hit by my weapon.
Fire Gin: Is this all you've got?!
* Tch! It doesn't affect him! *
Ray: DIVIDE!
I made it into four gigantic stone swords. I raise my swords up and let them directly hit the ground cornering the Gin pressing him.
The monster gave a loud intense cry. A surge of wind force appears quickly and breaks my sword into pieces.
It speaks in an arrogant voice.
Fire Gin: ALL OF YOUR TOYS CRUMBLE TO PIECES! NEXT IS YOU!
*This is turning to be bad. I should have followed the Tanker's advice. *
Fire Gin: IT'S MY TURN NOW!
The monster swiftly makes his launch towards my direction. With its incredible speed, there's no way I can dodge his attack. I close my eyes and wait for the painful strike that will come.
Suddenly, I feel the air surrounding me begin to change, the killing intent of the Gin disappears. He stops his advances.
I slowly open my eyes. A series of light energy surrounds me. I'm almost glowing like the sun. Seeing my appearance, the Gin is shocked looking at me. Fire Gin: You!!! You are a fragment of light!!
I don't know what he meant, but all I know is that I can use this power. I've been feeling this sensation from my body ever since I was born. I guess, this is what you call the Power of Light.
My discovered power illuminates the temple.
I dash quickly as I could and runs towards the Gin. I then punch his face. (Come to think of it, the heat didn't hurt me). The monster kneels and lands on the ground.
*Did I hurt him? *
That didn't take long and he regains his strength back and stands arrogantly.
Fire Gin: BWAHAHA! DO YOU THINK YOU CAN WIN OVER ME SINCE YOU'RE A FRAGMENT OF LIGHT!!?? I'M ETERNAL TO THIS PLACE. I WILL NEITHER DIE NOR VANISH!!!
Hearing this coming from the Gin's smug face irritates me. I pick my shuttered stone swords and transform them to light swords. The outer layers glow like a bright light.
*Let's see who's the Eternal? I'm going to win over this monster! *
The battle now becomes serious. We both clash to each other and make our advancement.
Every time I strike the Gin with my full force, he's entire body crushes. This, I presume becomes my advantage. But through time, I notice that the parts that I hit quickly regenerates. There will be no end to this nightmare.
I haven't yet mastered my new power. And if this continues, I will be on the losing side. I can't maintain my energy for too long.
I'm starting to feel the exhaustion throughout my body. As I lose my focus, he's fiery fist heads towards me. I'm too late to block his attack, it smashes me.
The blow takes me flying all over from the ruined temple to the entrance doorway. My mind getting dizzy, I can't move.
All I can hear is the monster's overwhelming voice.
Fire Gin: YOUR STRENGTH IS NOT THE KEY TO WIN HERE!!
