Chapter 313 - Survival Strategies Under Scrutiny
In response to Crystal's question, Talon straightened up and crossed his arms in front of him.
He began to say, "Waiting for help might take a very long time, and we can't be sure when or if it will arrive."
He paused briefly, thinking through his words, then continued, "I plan to start building a boat, bit by bit, that can carry all of us away from here."
Lisa chimed in, "That might make sense, but how are we going to get through that storm? We know this island is like a prison, surrounded by a huge storm."
Talon considered her question and replied, "Well, I have a theory that the storm doesn't rage constantly. There must be times when it calms down. It may take us quite a while, but we can start by constructing a small boat and use it to explore the edge of the storm."
He added, "We can make progress on the boat as we go. What do you all think?"
