A sudden loud noise was heard as the main wife's servant kicked on the door to enter Chou Lian's room with a bucket of water in hand.

"You little slut! Still sleeping like a pig after you tried to put all the prime minister's manor into danger! You want to commit suicide by drowning, right? Then let me drown you as per madam's wish!" the servant howled at Chou Lian's sleeping figure before pouring the water onto her with a loud splash.

Before Chou Lian could open her eyes she felt the wetness around her. The liquid feeling against her was so foreign but was kind of refreshing. But as the water was cold it made her shiver. "so this is what pure water feels like!", Chou Lian thought in her mind after which she opened her eyes with an unconscious smile.

She found a middle age woman with narrow mean eyes, thin lips , and a plump body sneering at her.

"Still have the guts to smile! You little whore!", the servant kept cursing at her which Chou Lian did not take to her heart. She felt her stomach rumbling, but she let the woman blabber first, and once she found the woman was done she asked nonchalantly, "Is there any food? I'm hungry."

"Hmph! Hungry?! Why don't you starve to death as you already want to die.", the woman spat out those words before leaving with the empty bucket.

Chou Lian felt so weak as the body has starved for some days now. Her head started to ache so bad as her stomach kept making loud noises. She could not even think about changing out of the wet clothes as she had no strength in her to do so. Just when she felt like passing away from hunger a smell which she had never smell before attracted her attention. She looked at the door to find a young girl in what seemed like servants clothing, which she knows from the owner's memories, came with a plate of something liquid white and two round mound like thing.

"The legendary real food!", Chou Lian screamed in her mind. After the disappearance of trees and the plants evolving into poisonous and deadly kinds all human beings relied on food capsules or liquid to stay alive upon, and that's what Chou Lian have had for the 20 years of her life. Never in her wildest dream she thought she would able to taste this treasure.

The servant seeing Chou Lian's eyes sparkling at the food , she felt pity for Chou Lian. She thought to herself, "Even though she's the legitimate daughter she has an awful fate. Getting so happy at the sight of plain leftover congee and hard buns without any stuffing. She should have been eating all the delicacies out there, but what a beggar's food she was eating. Sigh, even we servants eat better than this."

As the plate was kept in front of her Chou Lian felt like digging into food with her hands, but the 20 years of training to be elegant in whatever task she was doing, even when killing someone, made her stop herself. She shakily took the spoon in her hand, she knew how to use one from all the records that existed about the history of Earth, and used it to take her first bite of real food.

'So Tasty!', Chou Lian screamed in her mind before starting to gobble everything. For ordinary people of these kingdom congee and bun was the most common food and the cheapest for which they felt not much eating it. But for someone who had never had eaten real food it tasted like heaven.

The servant watching Chou Lian like that sighed internally so much, but being a servant what could she do.

Before Chou Lian knew it she had licked the plate clean. Even though the buns were quite hard it still tasted delicious for her. After eating her fill she thanked the servant who was going away. Then finally stood up and looked around the room. It was not a large room, and from the original owner's memories she knew it was her mother's courtyard, which was the smallest in the prime minister's mansion. There were a few wooden furniture and boxes. Chou Lian walked to all the wooden artifacts touched them feeling quite happy.

Then she remembered she was still wet so she went to one of the large box in a corner which seemed to have all the clothes. Seeing this colorful and feminine clothes which seemed liked the Yuan dynasty made her feel uncomfortable cause she has never worn such clothes. As she was changing she was quite shocked at some discovery! Her chest which so flat that could be used as a road actually were a little well developed, like the C- cup. She squeezed her boobs feeling this squishy feeling, before scolding herself when she remembered it was not supposed to be hers. But then again it was hers now. It was so weird thinking in this way Chou Lian felt like having a headache.

She quickly changed and then went out to the empty courtyard. As she roamed around the courtyard she found the place actually lovely. The sun was shining bright the houses were made in ancient style and there were this stone chairs and round table which she didn't know what it was called. She took deep breaths sucking in the fresh air and feeling so wonderful roaming around without any suit caging her up or any foul smelling air needing to breath for staying alive.

There was not a single servant to serve and no one even paid her any attention. The only time anyone would come was to taunt the original owner or to deliver those leftover food.

Even though Chou Lian no longer had her mecha-bots to fight with her, she wanted to test if she still had her martial qi. She sat down on the grass and concentrated herself trying to flow her qi within her body. Mo family had their own secret ways of learning martial arts and in which qi was the most important. Though martial arts hardly had any value in such a technologically advanced Earth but the Mo family members needed to learn this to keep her mind clear of any distraction, and to mentally and physically make them stronger.

As she tried to gather qi in her navel area she suddenly felt the electrifying feeling that she always felt trying to gather or flow her qi within her body. Sensing the presence of qi she felt when crossing over she actually bought her martial skills along with her soul! This was actually possible as qi was so close to one's soul. She happily practiced some hands seals and attack moves before calling it a day.

Now that she had her strength she needed to devise a plan to get out of this place as soon as she can. Therefore to plan how she can do that she would start searching for ways tonight.
