The only one accountable for the database was Director Zhang. Even if they were to go back to check her records which were entered months back, she was sure they would not go as far as to check the authentication of her documents simply because that procedure takes at least a month.

Thinking of this she felt calmness flourishing in her soul, "Young Madam Lin, you can rest assure in this case. I had only been employed through the valid procedure."

Jiang Ying Yue still appeared insouciant to her which led the shop assistant to wonder if this Young Madam Lin was just pretending to be smart or was this case really of no concern to her. Could it be that she was only doing all of this because of her title as a Young Madam Lin? Not a single frown appeared on her face ever since this case was initiated.

Jiang Ying Yue blinked her eyes casually, "But you know, this can't be considered Director Zhang's fault too?"

The shop assistant got confused at what she was implying, "huh-?"

Looking at the shop assistant's dumbstruck expression, she made her look at it from a different point of view while looking at her phone, "It could be due to some bug or even error. But then again, the data of others should have also vanished, but it is only yours."

"Uh-mm, Young Madam Lin, probably it's because the main database is not updated." The shop assistant was chuckling nervously, she had not thought from this angle, "It could happen with anybody, I guess."

Reflecting a pensive mood, Jiang Ying Yue smiled at the message she received and finally looked up from her phone to look at the shop assistant with her beaming eyes, "You are right. It could happen with anyone."

"Obviously, Young Madam Lin!" The shop assistant was feeling weird with her nonchalant behaviour. She was behaving as if whatever was going on was of no concern to her.

'Young Madam Lin, if it really is of no concern to you, why are you making me go through all of this!!'

She wasn't really sure if she should say it or not but since Jiang Ying Yue was not saying anything and was looking at her calmly, she still ended up saying it, "Probably it might be due to only fault of the computer but looking at how unorganised things are under the control of Director Zhang, I feel such a person shouldn't be kept in the position of Director of the mall any longer."

Tilting her head, she smiled, "Oh really? So you think Director Zhang is not doing his work properly?"

"It's not about doing the work properly but more about how lots of things lately had been going wrong. Last month even the case of stealing also came to the surface."

The shop manager was really shocked at such a shameless person. How could a person be so thick-skinned?

Others might not know but she knew it was her who had stolen things last month and when was caught, she had put the blame on another shop assistant.

As a result, the poor shop assistant was kicked out of the mall and even was blacklisted by Lin Corporations since she had no way to prove that it was not her.

This was such huge news that it had even gone viral.

"There is a point in what you are saying. If things are really how you are saying, who do you think would be more appropriate for this position?"

This was what she was waiting for, shop assistant pretended to be hesitating, "Young Madam Lin, I don't think I am at the position where I could suggest."

Qin Zihao twitched his lips at her drama. Now he was only waiting to watch the show. This shop assistant was really gone this time.

Jiang Ying Yue laughed lightly, "Why not? You are an employee of this mall. Employees are the ones who are directly affected by the wrong decisions. If I had not thought accordingly, you might have been expelled by now."

Looking pitiable, more like pathetic to Qin Zihao, she looked down for a moment as if she had really been wrong, "If that is really a case then probably I think Board Member Mr Shen would be good for this position."

"Board member Mr Shen?" While repeating slowly, Jiang Ying Yue moved her eyes to look at Director Zhang.

He immediately replied as if understanding the unasked question, "He is one of the major board members and the head of interviewing department. He is responsible for sending the legal documents along with the screening of interview to the secretary of Old Madam Lin for authentication."

"Oh." As if nodding understandingly, she looked back at the shop assistant, "So you think that I shall punish Director Zhang and remove him from his position because he is not doing his work properly. Am I right?"

The shop assistant was rejoicing from inside thinking that she might be able to turn the situation in her favour and did not notice the change in tone of Jiang Ying Yue.

If that old bas**** became the next director, she would not mind being his mistress anymore.

Jiang Ying Yue encircled the shop assistant while thinking carefully. When she was standing facing the back of the shop assistant, she paused in her steps and smirked.

Leaning towards her ear she whispered, "Then what do you think the punishment should be of Mr Shen for giving a job to one of the employees through an underlying manner without giving the records of her to Old Madam Lin for further inspection."

The shop assistant was frozen at her place. Shocked beyond measures. It was as if she was suddenly hit hard. Her face instantly grew paler and her fingers started shivering.

She stuttered, "W-hat what do you mean, You-ung M-adam Lin?"

The casual expression instantly wiped away from Jiang Ying Yue's face. Standing straight, she went to Qin Zihao and took the documents from his hand.

No one noticed when Qin Zihao went from the site and reappeared with few documents.

It was the first time Jiang Ying Yue had seen such a foolish person who was trying since starting to make them see from a twisted logic.

She really has had enough and now she only wanted to see whether this person would continue with her act even when she was face slapped by pieces of evidence.

Opening the document and flipping through a few pages, she curled her lips and returned to stand in front of the shop assistant.

Bending slightly to be at the same height as her, she mocked, "You see, just because you have gotten a twisted logic of seeing things not everyone is the same. Just because you think the records are only saved in the main database, it is not necessary that it has to be true as well."

Opening a page, she gave the document to the shop assistant, "Your records which you had submitted are these, right?"

After straightening her spine, she patted the shop assistant's shoulder, "We don't even need to give them further for authentication looking at how messed up it already is. It is already unbelievable that you were able to grab a job here with the submission of such a form."

Right, because she already knew that it was just for show and would never be sent further, she was never serious while filling her resume. The documents she had brought along were her real documents as she was aware that her backup had already prepared the fake ones and she just had to replace them.

But...she remembered now! She had forgotten to replace her real documents with her fake ones when she entered his office that day because even before she could do that he had occupied her in some other things.

Qin Zihao chortled from the side, "But really why the hell have you even written in your resume form that you are courteous and cordial?"

The shop manager's expression turned ugly at the word courteous.

If this person was really cordial, she would become bald and even rub this assistant's sh** on her head!

Finally snapping, the shop assistant's facial expression darkened while flipping through the document rashly.

Opening the last page, she was left flabbergasted. It showed the printed date and time information of when the data was first entered in the database and when it was later deleted.

It was also mentioned at the end of the page that Director Zhang was out of station during that time and the temporary head of the department was Mr Shen.

Her grip on the document tightened reading the last line and she suddenly got aggressive. She started tearing each and every page till only the scattered fragments of paper were left on the floor.

Her face had gotten red and sweaty whereas her whole body was trembling fiercely and looking inconceivable.
