'Hmm' Zane stopped on the branch and fell into thought. 'Why don't we just leave the bears alone and head towards the opposite direction?'

[Huh? What are you talking about?] Szal hissed. [You're an Eye Seeker already. If you are careful, a bear is nothing much.]

[Although that depends on the type of bear..] Szal mumbled the last part. But as Szal was just text and his own voice inside his brain, Zane would hear him no matter what.

'Hah.' Zane scoffed. 'What if it is an Evolved, or worse, Disaster level bear?'

[That won't happen, you're not that deep within the forest.] 

'What does that have to do with anything?'

[Of course it has something to do with it! You said so yourself, rare plants only appear deep within the forest! So that would apply to beasts too!] Szal mocked.

'...' Zane couldn't say anything to refute. He moved towards the source of the growls silently and with caution.
