Birthday devastation!

The next day which was also Rin's birthday, she was up before anyone could arrive at her room to wake her. She jumped up from her bed and walked to the mirror area, checking out her sapphire green hair and contemplating on which hairstyle to make.

'Mum and dad shroud be arriving in an hour or two... I wonder what they'll gift me for my birthday,' the little cutie thought with a pout.

After checking out her hair for several minutes, she seemed to come to a realization and ran out of her room, galloping cheerfully towards the living room.

"Nanny! Nanny!" She called out while passing through the corridors, the living room was already in her line of sight.

"Huh?" She could hear voices as she got closer to the living room.

"Could it be?" Rin thought and galloped faster with excitement written all over her face.

"Mum! Dad!" She shouted out as she got to the living room but alas, she was wrong.

What greeted her sight was a bunch of unknown people in the living room discussing with the workers who also gathered at the living room, Rin could see familiar faces like the butlers, maids, guards, cooks, e.t.c, even her nanny Folander happened to also be there but what puzzled Rin was the crestfallen look on each one of their faces as those bunch of unknown people spoke to them. Although they were well over fifty of them, the living room was big enough to contain more than five times their population.

The room quieted down immediately after Rin arrived. Everyone turned around to stare at her, including the bunch of unknown people who stop talking when they noticed her.

"What are you all doing here? Who are these people? Where's mum and dad?" Rin threw a succession of questions at them with a look of suspicion.

"She's still supposed to be asleep, why is she awake? One of you should take care of this," One of the unknown looking people commanded.

"Isn't it better if she just finds out the truth now? she's going to know sooner or later," Another one of them suggested, this time it was a female.

"Come on, today is supposed to be her birthday remember? I say we let her enjoy it for a little bit longer," Another one of them spoke while chuckling, he had a deep voice.

Rin was feeling confused, 'What's going on, what are they talking about? Where are my parents?' while she was still in the midst of confusion, nanny Folander could not bear the emotionless bicker between the bunch of unknown people and ran towards Rin, grabbing her by the wrist and leading her back towards the corridor area.

The bunch of unknown people just watched without saying a thing.

Nanny Folander held onto Rin's shoulder while trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill out from her eyes.

"Young miss, you have to be strong OK?" Nanny Folander said which increased the conflict going on in her mind.

"You see... your parents... they... they..." Nanny Folander couldn't get the words out.

"Oh, enough of this already," One of the unknown people said and walked towards them, "Your parents are dead! There, I said it... now you know," He spilled the beans.

The words were like a thunderclap in Rin's ears, 'Dead?' Her thoughts became chaotic and she couldn't hear the next sentence that the man said but it was along the lines of, her parents trading organization will be managed by them for now, till she came if age.

At the moment everything seemed fleeting, Rin couldn't hear anything all that occupied her mind was, 'Mum? Dad? I will never see them again?' "Kiiiaaaarrrr!" She screamed out at the top of her voice with her eyes rolling to the back, her vision blurred out and she fell unconscious.

"Young Miss!" Several voices overlapped, Rin only heard hurried footsteps before she fell unconscious completely.

While Rin was recounting her tale of misfortune Alusec had already saved, both sisters and was already bringing them out of the ocean.

When he got there earlier he was surprised to see that both sisters had defensive items that created a barrier shielding them from attacks.

The barrier was already cracking when he got there as they were being sieged by thousands of sea creatures who happened to be offsprings of the crab lord.

Alusec didn't even need to fight, his presence there was enough to scare every one of them away. The crabs happened to remember who laid waste to their leader.

Both girls were already lightly injured because the defensive item did not activate immediately, it activated after sensing that their lives were in danger.

The sisters didn't even know that they had such an item on them but Alusec understood that since they were the daughters of a patriarch, they would definitely have something like this on them but even with that, it would only buy them a little bit of time before they became crab food if he didn't arrive there since they were ambushed by so many sea creatures.

Alusec also knew that whoever implanted such items would know that they were in danger when it was activated.

Even while carrying two pieces of baggage with him while moving, Alusec was still as fast as ever which added to the shock of the sisters earlier when he arrived and scared the creatures away without even fighting. Ivrena could only wonder within herself if they were truly on the same cultivation level.

Alusec finally brought them out of the ocean, he was holding on to both their collar areas while flying towards the shore. He threw Ivrena to the sandy shore and dropped Briella gently.

"Ow!" Ivrena exclaimed as she landed on her butt, she immediately stood up and glared at Alusec angrily, "You!" She pointed at him and was about to speak when her sister slapped her hand, "Big sis, you should be grateful to him, he saved our lives," Briella chided angrily.

Ivrena immediately felt her face burn with shame and looked down guiltily, "I'm sorry, Than..." She was still in the process of speaking when she felt a strong presence approaching them from the forest area.

Alusec also felt it and turned to stare at the forest area, 'Hmm? A Demigod...That is their father... I'm a hundred percent sure that he's going to misunderstand the situation,'

The amount of pressure that engulfed the entire area made the birds drop from the sky and it was even obvious that He was still withholding his aura so as not to affect the surroundings too much.

A man in black robes and pigtails emerged from the forest of tall trees while flying in mid-air, the speed at which he was moving generated fierce winds that caused all the trees in the area to shake and bend like they were going to fall.

"Hmm?" The man in black robes who was obviously the father of the girls noticed the Alusec with strange-looking hair and half nude body standing close to his daughters.

He noticed the blood and tears on the body of his daughters and his rage was ignited as he already thought of a clear picture of what happened in his mind, all these were done in a second of emerging from the forest.
