CHAPTER 5: TIES OF OUR PAST

Right after Tobi's heart was eased though submission, a temporary dissatisfaction had risen, his mind was someplace else.

The road became more quitter with every passing time, most of their thoughts remained reserved, however Tobi took the initial approach," I have already made up my mind, right after this year ends, I am joining the military.

Rukia over reacted with rage, her fingers tightly attached at Tobi's shoulder while standing behind him," why can't you stay with us?"

"More people die beyond the walls, doesn't that mean anything to you!"

"I do care, he calmly confronted her concern for him," it's a personal goal that I have to achieve, no matter what happens, I have to see it through."

Rukia removed her hand," I failed to find my place in the academy, couldn't even proof it to myself, now I have to endure the coming penalty."

She moved forward with a disappointed look on her face, Jin slowly raised his head through a high altitude.

"You have to catch up to her and tell her the truth, besides the both you have a history."

Tobi kept his distance while his tone stood with empathy," Rukia and I do have a history, however there are some things that just want to keep to myself."

" She won't be able to understand, sometimes it terrifies me, having to protect her at all times."

"If she could just stay in the capital and understand...

" I don't care if the odds are stact against me, His determination opened closed doors on Tobi's heart, we have to keep on fighting to survive.

Rukia reached a few meters, ways ahead of them she glanced at Jin's home, her eyes focused at a clear view.

Not much time elapsed, Tobi and Jin caught up to her, Tobi was eager to ask her," there is something that you are not telling us."

The lack of sympathy on Jin emotion," Don't be afraid to tell us anything, It won't be fair I didn't return the favor."

There is nothing you can do, She removed her pawn beside the view," If you get involved, it will only make things worse."

Tobi couldn't help but a glanced at her with a heavy heart as she left," Jin, I am need you to wait for me here, these is something that have to do."

"I will go with you," said Jin, someone has to watch your back."

"It's alright, he smirked with pure confidence," this is my own battle to fight, besides you haven't fully recovered."

"It's almost dawn, don't take too long," said Jin, with a hopeful manner."

Her frustrations grew as she remained in a stressful state," both you have been through enough, I don't wanna see it anymore.....

Tobi approached her, he crossed his arm against her wrist, She couldn't look at him," I am tell you once, just go home, I will be alright."

Just as she tried to distance her self from him, Tobi closed the gap to give her comfort," we have been friends for a long time, I won't let you go."

"Why won't you tell me the truth, don't try to lie, you can't even look at me."

Just shut up, you are gonna make things worse," She distanced herself further from him."

Her arms won't stop shaking, it's obvious these someone after her, only a few minutes left before dawn, I need to be here before it happens.

"It's okay, you don't have to say anything,He settle calmly with the current circumstance," I might as well let it be."

" He walked toward the Jins location, yet suddenly glanced back at her," before I take a step further, who's the soldier behind you."

The mystery men came closer at every step, his hair reached below the neck, with a more darker tone of the silent shadows."

Through a clearer range, both of them witnessed that he carried a strange designed katana, only wearing a combat tunic without protective gear."

As he maintained a steady posture near Rukia, the fury of his pawn left her with a repugnant taste on her mouth."

"You selfish whore, royalty has poisoned you, with all of it's prevelgdes, you couldn't even complete your task."

"People like you dont seem not to comprehent your level of fortune that you have been blessed with this world.

"Why won't you make my job easier and just simply end your pathetic life."

No words were spoken from her tongue, not even a struggle gazing before him without any remorse.

"Then so be it, your wicket ways deserves no mercy."

He slowly lifted his hands paralled with his chest and stomach, at the time performing a combat stance.

Immensely devoted to take the opportunity by his own perception, he wasted no time throwing heavy blow."

Within mere moments, Tobi managed absorbed impact despite the circumstance, Rukia couldn't believe what she had to witness."

"Why do you keep on doing this to yourself, you didn't have to be here, you could lived to fight on another day, now he will kill us both."

His objective was still the main priority," you expect me to sit by and watch you get hurt.

"Even if you pushed me away, struck both my legs til I became scribbled, I would still crawl to protect you."

"I am sorry that it had to come to this, but that's how I feel about you."

Her mouth became closed shut towards Tobi's words, not knowing how to feel for her actions."

"How could she, the mystery replied without any warning, Rukia is a failure to her household, no longer will the weak walk amongst the path of the high nobles."

Tobi couldn't tolerate his words an longer,every portion of his facial frame shook randomly," She's only sixteen years old, why do you have to be so cruel!"

He moved the strangers hand tightly, while pulling his joint in a different direction," Unfortunately living in this world superior ambition rule over all, while child minded people perish."

Conflicted with different ideals, he endured a far brutal beating as the mysterious individual couldn't wait no longer.

He didn't falter so easily, however couldn't hold out much longer."

He suddenly felt weak, sense turned numb, not even coordinating clearly," struggle as you want, it's pointless, either way I will kill her."

Rukia is my friend, he's responds was low tempered," I won't you take her away from me!"

He held out his strange sword placed from behind, then glanced at him without compromise," your life ends here."

He rotated the blade while simultaneously shifting his fingers, eager to finish the his objective, Tobi's was moved aside thus ripped for a finishing blow."

Rukia kept him closer by a heart beat," I am so sorry for everything, your were right, I should have been honest with you, Tobi, please stay alive."

To be honest, I thought that hiding it from you would have made it easier to disappear.

I have failed my family failed my family, now I have no choice but to submit, if somehow you survive, I only ask that you take care of yourself, forget about me.

He's eyes positioned beneath his edges, dramatically approaching closer as his sword point the surface," nowhere else to run."

I won't run, her grief took its towl for Tobi, take my life, in exchange I beg you to spare him."

Your friend is a nusense, his words cut deeper than a knife," taking both of your lives will ease the the disgrace of our family."

" Rukia swallowed her fate, left without a choice but to struggle beside him," I tried to protect you, but in the end, I am the one to blame."

As he flipped his sword in a vertical position, he couldn't wait no longer," it's over Rukia....

"Rest easy.....

Her eyes remained closed, not even willing to stand against his might," don't be afraid, I am right here with you."

Tobi spoke his heart out once more to numb Rukia's sorrow, regretfully the final judgement was already taken, no hope to crie out too,

Only an instant death awaited on the other side
