This will allow me to publish even more chapters, do special events, and let me know you guys are enjoying it! Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

With One Hand Behind Your Back

Jun looked down at where's Ryo hand once was and didn't know what to say.

Slayers had regenerative abilities, but that didn't mean they could just sprout new limbs.

"How....?" Jun mumbled.

Ryo chuckled. "Welllll, you know how all the strong moves cost a lot of energy? Well, I didn't have enough to do my big move a second time. But I did it anyways and I won! All that matters right?"

Jun opened his mouth to speak and let out nothing but air. Ryo had maimed himself  because of him and now he would never be the same.

"I'm...I'm sorry, Ryo. I didn't think-"

"Shhhhh." Ryo said pressing one of his remaining fingers against Jun's lips. "Neither of us knew what was going on. If you had gone this round, then I would've been the one trapped. So it's all good. For real."

Except you would've broken out yourself, Jun thought.
