This will allow me to publish even more chapters, do special events, and let me know you guys are enjoying it! Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

The Heroes Dilemma

As the others wrapped up their fight against Fydos, things in Tetia's territory had gone from bad to weird in more ways than one.

After Steve's defeat and the Divine Cult pushed into hiding, for now, Tetia had employed an interesting tactic against the two slayers - she withdrew all of her forces. Axel and Iris had no idea why she would do such a move as it only benefited them in the end, allowing them to rest and regain their strength.

It did make them constantly on alert however. They never knew when someone might jump from around a corner or from behind a tree and send them right back into the fray of battle. But, more than a day passed and it had been completely silent. They hadn't even picked up a trace of divine energy.

That is until they felt the terrifying energy pressure of Tetia like the others had.
