This will allow me to publish even more chapters, do special events, and let me know you guys are enjoying it! Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

The Beginning of the End

Several days passed by since War made his presence known. He left his two Seraphs in charge of the entire planet and went back to the Heavens. There's been no report of a God sighting or God level energy in the days that followed.

Today, Axel opened his eyes for the first time since the beat down he received from War. His throat had been bandaged up and treated. He could still feel a slight twinge in his chest when he tried to sit up due to his broken ribs. He felt the back of his head and felt a cloth bandage there as well.

Due to using so much of his divine energy, his self healing had been severely stunted. He looked around the room and saw that he was inside what appeared to be a shelter - there were cots set up everywhere and storage lockers as well. He could make out what looked to be a small kitchen further down the room.
