This will allow me to publish even more chapters, do special events, and let me know you guys are enjoying it! Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

No 10 Count

Ryo had finally reached the point where he could pick himself up off the ground again. Fydos's choke hold had definitely been effective, but it was more the lack of energy after such a massive attack that brought Ryo down momentarily.

He stood up and took a deep breath just as the ground began to vibrate. "What the hell?" He asked as he looked over to see what was causing it. Jayden released a powerful blast from his weapon and the entire area was illuminated in a bright light.

That's when he saw Jun off to the side in what looked like a desperate state. He was staring over at Fydos as he brought his sword down swiftly as if cutting something.

Ryo didn't have time to question it as he hit the deck once more right before Jayden's attack hit Fydos full on. The explosion rocked the room - if not for Fydos's barrier against the ceiling there probably would've been a cave in.
