Atreus secretly made a decision: he was going to ask Tony to get him a Flash cosplay suit. In case anything went wrong in the future, he could just blame it on the Flash. After all, it's never a bad idea to blame Flash for everything!
(Flash: "Thanks a lot!")
Once he had the idea, he took action.
That very night, Tony received a secret email from Atreus, requesting a custom-made Flash suit, as well as a Gundam armor jacket.
On the surface, it was an exoskeleton mechanical system, but its actual combat power was naturally nowhere near Iron Man's. It was just something to cover up with.
For some reason, Tony couldn't help but imagine a classical Greek beauty he had met earlier that day, dressed in the exoskeleton armor and playing around with Atreus.
The imagery was quite unusual.
"That guy sure knows how to have fun!"
But let's not get off track.
After Atreus finished explaining the difference between the primary and secondary worlds, his discussion with Wonder Woman started getting a bit personal.
"You said you killed Achilles? You used the 'Achilles' heel'?" Diana smiled mysteriously.
Atreus was embarrassed. "Has anyone ever told you that being too smart can make you less adorable?"
Wonder Woman shrugged with a playful smile. "What can I do? Ever since I came to this world, I've spent my free time in the library. Naturally, I'm most interested in Greek mythology."
"And then?"
"If I went to Troy, I'd probably do the same thing. You just did it better than I imagined."
"You're too kind."
"It seems that the 'Godslayer' power I gave you has already grown into a towering tree in such a short time!" Diana chuckled bitterly. It seemed that even as the original Godslayer, she hadn't progressed as much.
Could Atreus reveal that his success was due to the system?
"Do you want to test my current strength?" Atreus suggested.
"Sure." Despite watching Kratos' battles, Diana still lacked a direct understanding of Atreus's power. She wanted to know just how strong he was without using the powers of the Olympian gods.
No further talk was needed. The two of them ignored a protesting aunt who was still refusing to stay in bed and recuperate. They boarded a private helicopter and flew to a secluded island estate.
The long-lost estate offered complete privacy.
As long as they didn't blow up the island, no one would even glance their way, no matter how loud things got.
In the spacious basement of the villa, Atreus, fully equipped in his godly armor, prepared himself for battle.
Suddenly, Wonder Woman remarked, "Doesn't this scene remind you of when Achilles faced off against my aunt?"
Atreus glanced at the barely dressed heroine and shook his head. "At the time, she was wearing much more. It wasn't until he was about to defeat her that Achilles realized she was a woman and wanted to marry her."
Diana tilted her head but didn't pursue the conversation further, as it could easily lead to a dangererous topic.
She then swung the god-forged sword from Hephaestus, slamming it against Atreus's divine shield in a classic stance of provocation. "Come on!"
Atreus had no choice but to charge forward.
With his 99 points of perception, he could usually hear even the breathing of a guard dog on the villa's perimeter and sense the slightest movements in the air.
In his vision, Wonder Woman struck a heroic pose, yet it felt like he was facing an impenetrable fortress wall, completely suppressing his perception to its limit.
At this moment, Wonder Woman gave off the impression of an immovable mountain, so imposing that even the wind seemed to halt in her presence, and the rain clouds had no choice but to release their water on the slopes.
Atreus swallowed hard. Even though he was already a demigod, he was still being overwhelmed by Wonder Woman's sheer presence.
He began to understand why Wonder Woman could challenge Superman in the DC universe.
Atreus was shocked, but Wonder Woman was even more astonished.
She knew very well that Atreus wasn't a descendant of the Greek gods. Not a second-generation or third-generation hero—he didn't even have a drop of Greek blood.
Yet in the blink of an eye, Atreus's oddly shaped battle blade was already above Diana's head.
With just a glance, Diana knew how powerful this strike was.
It felt as though Mount Olympus itself was collapsing above her, the blade crackling with lightning, bringing with it the force of a thunderbolt.
Even before the blade reached her, its momentum was overwhelming.
Just from this strike alone, Diana could confirm that Atreus had integrated the power of the Greek gods to the point where he could crush most of the god-blooded heroes. Most second-generation heroes wouldn't be his match.
Facing Atreus's overpowering attack, Diana responded with an unusually solid sword move for someone so slender.
Most would see Atreus's strike as too quick to avoid.
But Diana's approach was—there was no need to avoid it!
She stood like a mountain that had existed for millennia, unmoved by wind or rain.
Her movements, though slow, were precise. She raised her shield above her head, revealing only part of her forehead and a pair of eyes shining as brightly as the sun.
"Clang!"
It wasn't an ear-shattering explosion, but the impact sent a shockwave throughout the basement, shattering all the light fixtures and the glass near the floor-level windows.
Even though Atreus had ordered his bodyguards to stay away and had asked the Lance sisters to clear the area, the distant, explosion-like sound instinctively made the guards raise their guns.
"Stand down! Have you forgotten the boss's orders?" Black Canary yelled sternly.
Nearby, Lois wiped the sweat from his forehead as he reassured the confused guards. Once no one was looking, he muttered under his breath, "God help me! What am I even protecting here?"
With a boss like this, who's really protecting whom?
Lois made up his mind—whatever Atreus paid him, he'd take it without ever asking for a raise again.
With a boss like this, being a bodyguard was hardly satisfying.
Back in the basement, the intense battle continued.
After blocking Atreus's first strike with her shield, Diana's counterattack came as expected.
However, her thrust with Hephaestus's sword was deflected by Atreus's left-hand blade, one of the twin blades, Hector.
As the blade and sword clashed, a shower of sparks erupted. These weren't ordinary sparks—imbued with divine power, they caused the surrounding air to wail in agony, as if the elements themselves were fleeing from the battle.
The clash wasn't over yet.
Diana's seemingly modest biceps bulged slightly, and Atreus immediately felt her increasing the force in her hands. Despite his 230 strength points from wearing Kratos' skin, he couldn't withstand it.
His waist instinctively bent backward.
The brighter the smile, the fiercer the punch.
Diana wore a look of appreciation on her face, and then... she increased the pressure!
At first, it felt like being crushed by a tank, but by the end, it was as if Diana had slammed mountain into his face.
The overwhelming force grew inch by inch until Atreus found himself with nowhere to retreat and no way to avoid it. He was sent flying.
"Boom!" Twenty meters away, he left a giant, human-shaped dent in the wall.
