Brittany flicked her wrist with a sharp crack, activating a skill. A blinding flash erupted in front of her, coalescing into a radiant knight clad in shimmering light armor.

Alex glanced at Brittany and the newly summoned warrior.
Brittany pointed a resolute finger at the demon. "Attack that creature!" she commanded, her voice laced with steel.
The light knight, its form crackling with vibrant energy, hefted its massive sword.
Clang! the blade slammed into the water's surface, momentarily pushing the liquid aside and creating a window into the depths below.
The ice demon, caught off guard by the sudden assault, vanished beneath the churning water, the sound of its enraged snarl echoing up from the unseen depths.
