Aer's eyes widened in surprise, then lit up with amusement. "Sweat? But that's gross!" she protested, though a giggle escaped her lips
"Hey, it's a date! A little sweat is practically expected, right?"
"Fine, fine… But if anyone asks, I'm a magical perfume you just discovered!" Aer conceded, a mischievous glint returning to her eyes
Alex threw his head back and laughed. "A magical perfume, huh? Sounds perfect. Now come on, let's get back and I can change. We have a date and a new disguise to prepare for."
He opened the jar, extending a hand towards Aer. "Alright, come here, little perfume droplet. Let's go home."
The familiar warmth of the mansion enveloped Alex as he stepped inside. He cast a glance around the living room, which was empty. Frey must be busy with her evening chores, and Xiaomara… well, Xiaomara might be sleeping.
With a silent chuckle, Alex made his way up the stairs, the crisp bag containing his new suit clutched in his hand.
