The desolate North

In the desolate North, between each country, were wide and desolate lands that had yet to be touched by humans, and they contained a large number of deadly beasts and demons. They were also dangerous environments that were prone to natural disasters; carelessness could result in death. The area was similar to the third stage of the Floating Crest challenge, but the boundaries were much wider, and the paths longer. Even the people of the Clans considered it too dangerous to travel through the northern countries. Of course, there were many cultivators at the True Spirit realm or higher; some of them were running for their lives.

A beautiful but plainly dressed girl ran off into the distance, holding a sword. Millions of locusts appeared from the desert in front of her. She waved her sword of intent and sent an invisible charge that cut a path through the swarm of locusts. Although she knew it was risky, it was the straightest path.
