(CHAPTER 10: BOUNTY)

"My son! Who did this to you!!!" Howls and screams of sadness and despair rose in the ice cold mortuary. The lifeless bodies were placed on the ice cold tray, their body was ripped apart and shredded, the doctors barely manage to stitch the back. Two men who look at their fifties cried in despair, losing their love ones, but only one of them stood and stare, he has no mood for sadness. His blue eyes was filled with hatred, all he wanted right now.

Is revenge.

"My lord, here is the sketch of the "monster" that killed your sons, according to the sole witness." Upon exiting the mortuary, one of the soldier beside handed them a piece of paper. The three men immediately approached and take a good look, and one look was enough for them to feel fear. He was a beast, huge, muscular, standing at least two meters tall. His eyes were jet black, with res pupils and veins popping out from his face. His hair is like a burning flame, with black red markings trailing from his spine, taking the shape of a crackling fire. But what fear the men the most, is the marking on his chest. A mark of a hound, with fire around it's mane, it was the mark of the devil.

"It was the devils! The devils has taken them!!" One of the man kneeled to the ground and screamed. "The devils! Haha! The devils!!!" He let out a maniac laugh, rolling on the ground, hugging his stomach. "The prophecy is true! It is always true!!" The other yelled in desperation, tears filled with fear and anger rolled out from his eyes. "We are going to die!! We are all going to die-"

"Shut up." The man raises his leg and kicked towards him in the shoulder. He was flung towards the other, as the two clashes together. "Put a bounty on this man." He ordered. "Five million gold, twice if alive" "Five million!?" Even the army was a little shocked upon hearing it. "I didn't like to repeat." He stare at him with that cold blue eyes, sending a shudder down his spine. "Ye-yes my lord!" the soldier stammered, and backs up immediately.

"Hey!"

Before he could grasp the cold handles and get the hell of here, the man called once more. "Tell the Sun Government that if they didn't get this man to me fast. I will quit my position as the three Royals. And that escaped maid, I needed you to bring her alive too." He take out a cigarette from the pocket of his coat and lighten it up the tip with a golden lighter. He take out a deep sip, before huffing out the smoke. His eyes staring aimlessly at the window, somehow, a blizzard started to swept within the kingdom…

"Tha-thank you." The three of us circled around the campfire. The cat girl hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. "Nothing to thank about," I stare at her face, she was petite, unlike Aiko. Like what people at universe C21 Earth would've called them as Lolis. Her hair was pure black, with hint of mystic purple. Her eyes were violet, with that unnaturally expression on her face. As if she was always in danger, always in fear. She has a huge cat ear and a black long tail, looks like she is indeed a cat girl.

"So what's your name again?" Aiko lean closer towards her, unlike Aiko, she is quit stone cold. "I-I don't have a name." She bit her lips for a moment before replying. "I am just an object." The light in her eyes fade as she hung her head low. "They just treat me like an object…"

"How about Selina." Aiko didn't seem to notice or mind her changing expression. "Selina Niko." "Wow splendid name, better than mine." I let out a dramatic expression. "You named him too?" She lifted her head slowly and asked. "What's his name?" "Nozomi Rey." Aiko snap in before I could even reply. "And you?" She asked again. "Aiko Aki." She winked. "A.K.A, stupid bunny." I added behind her.

"Stupid bunny…" She expression froze for a second upon hearing it, the edge of his mouth twitched a little. "Ha, haha…" she suddenly burst out in laughter. "Haha! Stupid bunny!" She laughed, before with a hic, she suddenly burst into tear as he pounces into Aiko's body and bawled. Both of us stay silence and stare at her, we have no idea what she have been through, let the tear brings away her pains…

"I was born just a day after the war broke out. A wicked fruit of a human and a black cat witch" We lay on the grass beneath us and stare at the night sky, it has already become a thing that we do on a daily basis. Sleeping under the starry sky, was a simple joy I've never experienced before, back in my office as the creator, back at the billions of reincarnation I have been in before. "I was taken away instantly, sent towards the local slave market, and was sold towards the son of the Marine fleet general. Under the name of a maid, I was forced to become a slave for his son, Wilson. A masochist, to heal his wound everytime he finish his enjoyment. And avoid the disgusting news from being spread out, I was caged, fed like an animal."

"Why would you come to the capital of the Sun then?" I asked, according to what I currently know, the Marine and Sun is currently in a cold war. "He wanted… to show me off to his friends." She barely spoke those words out, her voice is still trembling in fear, reoccurring what happens at the day. "I just turned eighteen, a-and, they wanted to rape me!" Her voice trembles even more, as if it was choked out from her lungs. " I hated him, but when you killed them all…"

"You still felt soft towards him right?" I said, speaking out what she wanted to say. "…" She remain silent, looks like she really is. I stood from the ground and headed towards her. "Listen here!" I yelled, pulling her up. She was shocked from my sudden scream, even Aiko let out a yelp of shock

"I am a half breed!" I let out a roar. She stare at me, the constant days in fear made her expression froze.

"Repeat!!" I raised up my voice.

"I, am a half-br-eed." She stammer those words out, her eyes locked onto my hand, as if I am going to attack her anytime.

"You are yourself! You are Selina Niko!" "I a-m-"

"LOUDER!!!"

"I AM ME!! SELINA NIKO!!" She screamed, before bursting into tears for the second time within an hour. Great, this must've been some kind of record. "A head pat must've been useful, right?" I stare at Aiko, I just wanted to give her courage and self-dignity, who the fuck knew things would've escalated this far. I raises my hand a bit, she nodded, signaling me to try.

Let's do this shit.

I approaches her a bit, and stretch out my hand. "Mmmm-" I place my hand on her head, before rubbing it softly. Her ears twitch a bit, but at least she stop crying. I rube the tip of her ears softly before stroking the back of her ear alongside her hair together, damn I am getting real good at this. I turn around and take a quick glimpse at Aiko, I thought she would smile for succeeding, but she is shooting dirty looks towards me. I immediately turn back and backs up, letting an awkward smile towards her. She let out an "hmph" and turn around, great I got two problems right now.

"Hey, look I got something for you two." I open the palm of my hand, and place some powder I got from the wildflower I pluck before on the tip of my finger. "Look!" A spark of fire shot out from the tip, as it flew to the sky, before bursting into colorful sparks. The two stare at my handmade fireworks, their mouth wide open, sight locked onto it. I let out a deep sigh, lucky I am a creative quick thinker, I will survive at least for now.

"More!" Aiko shouted like a kid.

"Alright." I take out red flower from my pocket and disintegrate it

"I want purple." Selina nibbled for a while before speaking.

"Alright purple." I put the flower back and take out a purple turnip.

"No! I want red!"

"Aiko!! Come on!"

"Alright purple then."

"But right now, I also wanted red…"

"Why are you always that soft…"
