The Final Day

The scene now takes us to Jin, being in the class of the second year students that he was assigned to be its instructor.

He was discussing the final topics that he will ever discuss here in this room.

'Honestly, I don't know if these guys will miss me or not.....They might thank the gods or something if they heard that this is gonna be my final day.'

Jin believed that some MIGHT miss him, while the majority would definitely sing and dance with joy the moment they know that he won't be their instructor anymore starting tomorrow.

'Hehehe, I always give them school activities and assignments everyday. They will definitely scream with joy after they heard of it. Well.....at least I won't be telling them that this'll be my final day.'

Jin would always give them homeworks, performance tasks, school activities and made them do essay's of their understanding of the day's lessons almost everyday. They are definitely wishing for a new instructor.

'Professor Nero will just have to tell them the grand news tomorrow. I've heard from Ozpin that he's already coming back to Beacon Academy after his long ass mission. He'll be back tomorrow I think.'

Back to the students....

Right now, every single one of the the second year students were listening to him with their backs straight-up and their seating positions being so proper.

They were also properly writing down notes, as their instructor required them to as he would always check it at the end of their class. It was his way to determine that if that student was actually listening.

He won't even allow them to copy each other's notes and would force them to write their own. He would keep a watchful eye on them as they wrote all the stuff on the board and his words down.

Yeah, Jin is one of those kinds of teachers....but is more scary and should never be defied.

If a student didn't submit their notes, then he would give them a long quiz, test or an assessment. He would even add in the extra homework for them as a special 'treat.'

And if they won't do it all, then he would tell them that their grades are in danger. They couldn't really do anything about it.

Some even contacted Ozpin to complain about how Jin does his job, but they would be either ignored by the headmaster or tell them that they were just too lazy and deal with their new school life.

And as Jin would discuss, nobody would dare not to listen to him and nobody dared not to sleep. They were all too afraid if they were found out by their nice, yet brutal instructor.

Jin was generally a nice instructor and was considerate of the students when they make a mistake or if they treat him properly.

But if they would get on his bad side, then a broken bone or two was guaranteed to be inflicted on the offending person. At best, they would just get a bad grade by abusing his powers as an instructor.

The headmaster just really made him do what he wants.....

They could still remember on what happened to the person who actually dared to sleep off in his class.

Aside from the now four suspended students and the first student where Jin threw a chalk at in his first day, there was actually another rogue student that appeared on his second day.

When that certain student slept in the middle of the Elder Red's class; Jin threw a chalk at him on the head with so much strength that the student was left unconscious with his head having a minor injury.

After that incident, they were reminded of how brutal their instructor can be to the naughty students, and there was no such students that appeared on the next passing days.

So now, the second year students were attentively listening to their babbling instructor as he pointed his stick on the words on the board.

They were listening like their lives depended on it.

"The final topic for today will be the principles of hunter strategies that should always be implemented when creating an advanced strategy."

"Number 1: Objective. It is a directory towards a clearly defined, decisive, and attainable goal for the strategy. This is the very first of the many that you should have when creating a tactical decision."

"Number 2: Offensive. It is the strategists ability to seize, retain and exploit the initiative on your enemies. This is one of the main factors that would affect your rate of success on doing your objectives in a tactical situation."

"Number 3: Economy of Force. It is the strategists ability to properly know where to allocate the minimum and maximum essential combat power to secondary efforts, such as support and utility."

"Number 4: Unity of Command. It is the ability of the strategist, as the one responsible leader, to ensure the unity of your team and the effort that they will bring on their roles.

"Number 5: Security. It is the ability of the strategist to not let information leaks of their plans to opposing teams. Remember people, Grimms are not the only ones that a hunter will fight. You lot will also be fighting Rogue Hunters, Criminals and Mercenaries with Hunter level combat abilities, and a bunch of other human hostiles, you will fight them all in your hunter career. So never let your enemies leak out any information and let them acquire any kind of unexpected advantage. Always think critically....."

.....

After a good twenty minutes of discussion. The Spartan instructor checked the time and he decided to end his time now.

"Alright, thats enough for today. Class dismissed." Jin announced.

Jin closed the book he was holding before turning his back and walked towards the doors. The moment he walked out already, the students finally gave out their sighs of relief.

"He actually didn't give out any assignments today, thank you Oum." A random second year student said.

"Yeah, he didn't even task us for essay's or conduct any kinds of written tasks and quizzes. This is truly a wonderful day."

"I think he just decided to give us a break or something, and tomorrow, everything will get going to the usual."

"Well, at least we have alot of free time today. Let's savor it while it lasts."

Many of the students voiced out their pleasured surprise because of Jin not giving them any kinds of homeworks or school activities for today.

All of them stuffed in their things in their bags before grouping up with their own circle of friends and leaving the classroom with high spirits.

They all had alot of free time. It was a rare opportunity these days after Jin became their instructor because of all the tasks he would give them.

While the students went out to different places in the Academy to hang out with their friends. A certain Faunus was trying to catch up to Jin.

The rabbit-eared Faunus girl ran towards the corridors in search of her handsome instructor. She turned her head around until she finally see's a familiar back.

'There!'

Jin was humming in a whistling tone as he walked towards to the staff's office to spend his last day in his work on helping the staff.

Even though his work there was quite little since the second day, there was still some work to be done even if they were little or was just some errands.

Though, he might mostly spend his time there again rewatching some episodes of You Laugh You Lose, LWIAY and Meme Review 👏👏, as well as listen to the 10 Hour Version of Bohemian Rapsody.

"Those rats better be thankful that I didn't give them any kind of school work today. I didn't even check their notes. Hehe, thats my farewell gift for you kids." Jin muttered.

"Professor!! Wait!!" A feminine voice called out from the back.

"Hm?"

A question mark appeared on the Elder Red's head before he turned back and saw his favorite Faunus student, Velvet, running towards him.

Jin stopped on his tracks, "Velvet? What are you doing? Is there something wrong?"

"Ummm...nothing actually...I just wanna....ask you something...." The rabbit-eared girl shyly said.

"Hm? What is it then? Is there someone bullying you again?" Jin said in a protective voice.

Velvet's face turned red at Jin's concern and she stuck out her hands with a comical waving gesture, "N-no! T-that's not it! I-its something else...."

"What it is then?"

The Faunus girl fidgeted her fingers as she said in a slightly sad tone, "I-is it true that this'll be your last day as an instructor in our class?"

Jin's face turned into bewilderment as he was surprised at her knowledge, 'How did she know?'

"Now, how did you know that Velvet..." Jin said in a curious tone.

The rabbit girl adorably became nervous as she timidly said, "Eh? I-i-its b-because I've heard your conversation with the head master some days ago. I happen to pass by his office and I overheard you guys talk about your final day as the instructor of our class a-and some other stuff...."

Jin smiled at her cute reaction and he already figured out one of the main reason. Aside from her indeed passing by Ozpin's office, she always had a better auditory senses than most Faunuses because of her rabbit ears. So of course she was able to overhear their conversation.

"Now, now. I'm not angry or anything. No need to be scared." The elder red warmly said as he patted her head.

Velvet's face turned red, and this time she didn't turn he head down on embarassment or anything. Instead she closed her eyes as she smiled like she just accomplished something good in her life.

'He never gets mad at me or anything! He treats me so well and always helps me in all my problems! I want to spoiled by him over and over again!'

Her and Jin would occasionally spend some time privately. Don't get the wrong idea as Jin wouldn't even make some sexual jokes or create sexual tensions when he was with her.

It all started when Velvet timidly approached Jin for some questions about his lessons. Since then, Velvet would approach Jin and talk to him, Jin would even give her some special treatment and help her in her assignments.

And later, their talks became a bit personal. As in they would talk about some things in their life.

They would spend their time trying to get to know each other. Velvet already opened up to him since day three and she already told him of her past and almost everything about herself.

Of course, Jin did the same favor, but didn't forget to not tell her something else as it may change her views on him.

The times they spend together were like dates....or just Jin, possibly courting her.

He then smiled helplessly, "Now, aren't you happy that starting tomorrow, you'll have less assignments and less work in school?"

"Eh? No! I didn't mind them at all! Its just....."

'She would never lie to me huh.'

"Just what then." He warmly smiled while caressing her head.

The rabbit girl's face turned red as she kept stuttering in her words, "I-I-I-I....".

Velvet couldn't really speak out what she wanted to say. She was too embarassed to really speak out the words she wanted to say.

Jin just smiled as he thought, 'Hmmm, Is she going to confess to me or anything? Well, many girls have already shameless confessed to me or even tried to seduce me. But if its coming from you, then I'll make yours special.'
