Chapter 10: Sister's Distress.

"Hey sis what's the matter?", Riruru asked in a confused voice while following behind Rio who suddenly appeared outside her class after recess.

Without explaining anything Rio just dragged her out, trying to quickly leave the school.

"It's nothing....it's nothing....let's just go home early ok"

"But why? I was going to play with my friends today!"

"Riruru just listen to me!"

Hearing Rio's angry voice Riruru pouted her lips in dissatisfaction but didn't continue to question her sister.

Because even she felt that something wasn't right with her today.

After getting a good look at her Riruru suddenly noticed her slightly red eyes.

"Sis we're you crying?", Riruru exclaimed in surprise, using her hand she quickly grabbed Rio's shoulders looking straight into her eyes.

Seeing her sister's questioning face, Rio's expression trembled a little before she said in a pleading voice.

"Riruru let's leave first alright? I'll explain later....."

"If you say so...."

Sensing that the severity of the situation was higher than what she initially expected, Riruru quietly followed behind Rio.

In no time the two sisters managed to arrive at the school gate.

But just when Rio was about heave a sight if relief.

"Hey, Rio!"

A familiar voice that sent shivers down her spine entered her ears followed by a hand that quietly rested on her shoulder.

Turning her head saw Kazuo standing right beside her with his hand around her shoulders.

"Ho is this you're sister?", Kazuo narrowed his eyes on Riruru, his gaze scanning her body from head to toe.

"Hello I'm Rio's friend!", Kazuo suddenly extended his free hand towards Riruru's direction.

Kazuo waved toward the retreating Rio and Riruru with a friendly smile on his face.

Although his tone was friendly, his words only made Rio feel a terrible sense of fear as her breathing became quicker and she suddenly grabbed her shoulders as if trying to find a sense of comfort.

Taking in a deep breath, Rio quickly remembered that she wasn't alone, She Aldo had a sister to take care of.

"Let's go let's go to the teacher....."

Rio and Riruru quickly made their way towards the teacher's ward.

"What you're saying you want me to drop you home?", The homeroom teacher asked in an annoyed voice while looking at the two sisters.

After shutting the door to the washroom, Rio felt a little sense of comfort.

But then the reality of the situation hit her.

Why didn't she think of calling Hiro?

Rio thought with a doubtful look on her face.

It's because even now Hiroya's image in her heart was that of a weak little brother who needed protection.

Midway through her sentence, Rio ended up crying a little, but as to not worry her brother she quickly threw the phone back to Riruru.

Riruru tried her best to calm down the situation.

"You're coming? Ok! Make sure to hurry up!"

Riruru heaved a sigh of relief after ending the call.

Then she turned her head and looked at Rio who was leaning against the wall, doing her best to wipe the tears which kept falling out.

"Sis.....", Seeing her sister's condition, Riruru felt sad, moving towards her she gently hugged the trembling Rio.

"I-I e-ended up dragging you and H-Hiro into this mess!"

"It's alright sis! Don't cry!."

Riruru didn't know what was happening but she still tried her best to comfort Rio.

"Are they in trouble....?", Hiroya thought as he got up from his bed and quickly wore his shirt.

At first, he thought Riruru was messing with him but hearing Rio's breaking voice, Hiroya concluded that something must have gone wrong.

So he quickly got ready and left the house.

"Hiroya where are you going?"

"I'll come back in a minute."

Replying to his mother, Hiroya left the house.

But then his gaze landed on Rio, making him frown.

"Brother you came so quickly!"

Ignoring the brat, Hiroya went towards Rio.

"Hey don't ignore me!"

"Are you alright?", Hiroya asked while carefully looking at Rio who kept avoiding his gaze.

"I'm okay Hiro....let's leave quickly....", Rio said in a quiet voice.

'Yeah right.', Hiroya almost wanted to roll his eyes at her poor acting, he really wanted to call her out but seeing that she didn't seem to be in the correct state of mind he decided to take her back first.

"Let's go!"

Hiroya turned around while gesturing g at them to follow.

"Hey Hiroya how did you arrive so quickly? Did you take a cab?", Riruru asked as she walked on his right side.

Meanwhile, Rio quietly took his left side.

"Cab? No, I ran.", Hiroya replied casually.

"What! Don't lie to me!"

"I'm not lying to you."

"Boo! Hiroya is a liar."

While Hiroya was getting a little annoyed at Riruru's mischief, he felt someone hug his left arm.

Moving his head he saw Sister Rio who was walking a little distance away suddenly attached herself to his arm.

'It's them! It's Kazuo!', Rio's eyes shook in fear as she looked ahead.

Kazuo and his group were standing there casually chatting with each other.

The closer they got to Kazuo's group the more Rio's feeling of fear grew.

"Kazuo don't tell me that guy scared you?", Another minion said in a joking tone making everyone laugh.

There was a reason he didn't attack Hiroya and his sister.
