"Brother, You are ready?" Alex saw Mia peek her head through the broken door and once she saw her brother was dressed properly, she walked in. "Everyone is waiting for you. Natasha will be here any moment as well"

"I am ready. Let's see how pretty my future wifey is. I have heard a lot of her" Alex answered as he fixed his clothes before walking out. The previous soul of this body was a bookworm and very introverted for being a mortal so he never went out of the clan, because of this, Alex didn't know what Natasha looked like.

As Alex stepped out of the house, he started checking other houses in the vicinity. There were 2 more in the distance and he could make out even more far away.

'This is just a small clan? This should be treated as a village!' Alex rolled his eyes as he saw the massive size of his small clan. He knew a small clan could consist of 1000 members with multiple families.

"Brother Alex, You look.....alive and well?" Alex stopped in his tracks as he heard the voice and knew the source of it. 

"Brother Drake. Yes, I am well" Alex looked at the boy who was the same age as him and had a surprise on his face. Mia stopped as well but her hands were still gripping Alex's hand tightly. She didn't have any love for his cousin Drake.

'This is too easy. I just got isekai'd and I already have an enemy' Alex thought as he could smell the fragrance of soul-rendering poison coming from Drake's hand. Alex now knew who was the one who had poisoned him before. 

Drake was the son of the high elder. His father was in the same position as Alex's. The clan had a clan leader and 5 high elders who governed and took care of everyday decisions.

'But why does he want to kill me?' Alex thought but then Drake opened his mouth and spilled the beans.

"Today is your lucky day Alex. Today you will marry the fairy of our little town - Natasha. We are all so jealous" Drake had a smile on his face but Alex could see the hate and jealousy in his eyes.

"Haha. Thank you. Thank you. I can't wait to taste her" Alex licked his lips teasing Drake. 'Bitch, you want to kill me over some girl? See how I am going to tease you till you are dead' Alex thought as he continued, "You know how these girls are. They act high and mighty but are submissive and slut under the sheets" Alex winked at Drake with a lewd grin on his face.

Alex could swear that he could imagine that Drake was about to cry.

"Ahh, you pervert brother!" Alex felt a slap on his shoulder as he had forgotten that his sister was standing next to him.

"Let's go. We are getting late" Mia dragged her pervert brother to the main hall of the clan.

Drake stood there frozen for a few seconds before his expression started to twist into that of an animal, "Bastard trash, How are you alive even after drinking the poison? I am going to kill you sooner or later. Natasha is mine and will be mine" He took deep breaths after cursing Alex before he went away.

"I will tell Dad about how perverted his son is" Mia started to complain as they made their way to the clan hall.

"Don't sister. You know I am just joking. I don't want to do any perverted things to Natasha" Alex lied and then whispered in his sister's ear, "I want to do perverted things to you" 

"You...you...I hate you" Mia had a blush on her face as she kicked Alex's leg before walking away.

"Son, You are finally here" Alex's Dad was sitting in the elder's seat. There were 5 in total while the highest one was occupied by the clan leader.

Due to his powerful soul, He could feel how strong his dad was along with the other elders of the clan. The clan leader was the strongest among the bunch.

'He should be the strongest in this town' Alex thought as he sneaked peaked at the clan leader.

"Good. The groom is here" The Clan leader was an old man who looked like a mountain sitting on the throne.

Alex bowed just like everyone as the clan leader continued, "Today is an auspicious day as our clan is getting a new member. Natasha who will become the wife of....Alex" Alex could hear the pause in the clan leader. He could also notice the ridicule, pity, and embarrassment from multiple people in the hall. He knew he was trash in everyone's eyes and marrying the most beautiful girl in the town was just like a beggar getting his hand on the Miss Universe.

Alex took a deep breath, his face without any shame and embarrassment as he stood in the middle of the hall. 'Heh. I chose to become the demon king in my previous life and went against the whole world. Do you guys think this much will embarrass me?' Alex had a calm expression on his face as he looked toward the entrance due to the noise coming from outside.

A man who looked like a merchant walked in, with a few other members walking behind. Alex knew the man in the front, he was the father of the bride.

Just as Alex was about to greet the father-in-law, his mind blanked as he saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen walk in behind everyone else. She was dressed in all red, like a phoenix. Alex had seen his fair share of pretty girls in the old world yet she was the most pretty of them all. The red gown, crafted with meticulous detail, hugs her figure in all the right places, enhancing her natural beauty. The rich, vibrant shade of red complements her skin tone, radiating cold and passion. Her black hair was styled in an elegant updo, a perfect complement to the grandeur of her red wedding dress. It was meticulously arranged with a blend of sophistication and simplicity, showcasing the natural beauty of her locks. The hairstylist had woven strands into intricate patterns, creating a timeless look that framed her face with grace.

She looked divine and everything was perfect with her except her expression. She was expressionless, cold as ice.

It took a few moments for Alex to get his bearing as he watched Natasha slowly walk toward him and stop right beside him.

Her Dad had a smile on his face as the marriage continued.

Alex could inhale the sweet fragrance coming from Natasha along with the coldness from her. She felt like an embodiment of ice.

'Ice Spells? She is a cultivator alright' Alex thought as he used his soul to check her strength and was shocked at the result. 'Holy fuck! Who am I marrying? old hag?' She has even more Qi than our clan leader.' Alex screamed in his mind yet he acted calm outside.

Alex didn't even realize as time passed and slowly, he became the husband in the new world.
