Lucas was not the only one who showed his skills and efficiency. The other two contestants were the same.
None of them wasted time more than necessary once the bell rang, signaling the start of the event.
Watching him from afar, Liliana was unable to take her eyes off Lucas. He speedily yet accurately took all the ingredients he needed from the pantry before rushing back to his station.
The camcorders captured every motion executed by the participants, followed by the emcee's speeches from time to time. As planned, the competition was aired live through the hotel's official website.
The clock kept ticking, showing the moving passage of time. The spectators whispered among themselves whenever they found anything interesting happening on the stage.
"Is it the spiced potato cake?" Liliana murmured to herself as he watched Lucas taking out a familiar-looking cake from the oven, "Then, what he wanna do with the apple slices?"
