Strained by the previous rehabilitation session and exhausted due to lack of rest, Cassia was unable to stay awake longer than she wished for. After saying goodbye to Old Master Ding and Talia, she fell asleep easily.
"Mom usually won't wake up until late afternoon," said Liliana as she properly covered Cassia with the blanket, "Let's sit there."
Old Master Ding and Talia looked in the direction of the three-seater couch. It was placed opposite the bed.
"Yes. We haven't finished talking yet," Old Master Ding agreed with a nod.
While the three of them sat on the couch, the old man kept looking at the sleeping Cassia with a smile on his lips. The experience of meeting and talking with his niece still felt so surreal to him.
